“Amazing hotel. Very family friendly with plenty of activities for little kids including a whole boardroom with games, crafts, movies and treats. The pool is beautiful. The food was amazing. The view was incredible. We will 100% book here next time we’re in Victoria. Absolutely loved it.”

“We booked this hotel through Expedia based on the excellent reviews and photos, but our experience was extremely disappointing. The room was old, had a strong unpleasant smell, and was not clean. We informed the staff, but they had no better room to offer, and we couldn’t find another place to move to. The breakfast was very poor - just basic toast with very limited options. “Struttura priva di ascensore. Stanza piccola e soffocante. Il condizionatore era un alambicco attaccato al muro molto rumoroso e poco efficace nel rinfrescare. Nei dintorni c'erano barboni, prostitute e persone con siringhe alla mano. Zona poco affidabile. Eviterei questo hotel”

“The building itself seemed a little dated but updated and well maintained. Our room was clean, however, we discovered that one of the beds had a broken bed frame, which was resolved asap by proving us with a new (upgraded) room. Easy access to downtown Victoria (~10min drive). Overall a positive experience.”

Although the Waddling Dog is under renovation, it is perfect for a short stay. For a very clean stay in a newly renovated British character inn, attached to a pub and across from a gas station for a last minute top up, stay here.”
