“Our stay at EBENDE VILLA was very comfortable, safe and quiet beautiful! The grounds are very well kept and the house and amenities are as advertised. The staff are very helpful and the property manager will go above and beyond to make sure your needs are met. The property is very far out however, and the roads are very poor and remote to say the least. They will set up transportation for you but keep in mind travel time from the Villa when setting up your excursions.”

“I want to be fair, so I will give the good first:Short walk (250m /-) to a beautiful stretch of beach. "Villa" was very clean, 2 decent size bedrooms, 1 functional bathroom with good shower heads and plenty of water pressure (except during rather frequent power-outages) - no bathroom window is a minus, kitchenette is just too small (counter space taken up by single electric burner - not great for cooking with one burner and during power loss). Nice little livingroom with new Smart 40" TV and...

Konokono Beach Resort and Isaraya Over Water Villa

10/10 Eccellente

"I stayed at Konokono Beach for 7 wonderful nights and it truly exceeded all my expectations. This hotel is a hidden gem, beautifully immersed in nature with the local monkeys often wandering around the lush grounds, adding a special wild touch to the experience. The room was enormous and exceptionally well-equipped with every comfort you could need. What made it truly outstanding was the private outdoor garden, our own small private pool, and the stunning direct beach view. It felt like a private paradise. The staff were fantastic — friendly, professional, and always ready to help with any request. A special thank you to Beatrice, Maria, and Mohammed, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The beach in front of the hotel is one of the most peaceful on the west coast of Zanzibar. Comfortable loungers are provided free of charge, and the calm, relaxed atmosphere is perfect for unwinding completely. Every evening the dinner was accompanied by fantastic live music and shows featuring traditional Masai performances, local dances, and vibrant Zanzibari rhythms. It created a magical atmosphere every single night. I highly recommend Konokono Beach to anyone looking for a tranquil, authentic, and luxurious Zanzibar experience. We will definitely be back! Asante sana to Beatrice, Maria, Mohammed and the entire wonderful staff for your kindness and availability! Asante Zanzibar – we will surely return! 🐒🏝️"
