“We had a lovely stay and the hotel is gorgeous. We loved the old style bar and the decor in the rooms. There were, however, a few flaws which would be worth mentioning considering it is not a cheap hotel. Firstly, there was only one person on reception so we were queuing for a while to check in / out and there was no visible key drop. “I had a good stay at the Castle Hotel. Lovely little hotel, super comfy bed and gorgeous bed linen. The room was spotless and generous tea and coffee making facilities. Nice bathroom products. No A/C as it's a beautiful old building, but that was fine as was able to open windows and control the radiator. I didn't have a cooked breakfast but buffet options were fine and the other guests seemed to be enjoying their cooked food. I will stay again, thank you.”

“Great overnight stay in a Superior Suite. Tastefully Decorated. Nice ensuite bathroom with lovely large shower. Bedroom has a Comfortable bed, which was very high up if you're not that tall :) & a tv. Separate room with Leather settee & a tv. Good space for a Couple. Clean through out. Continental Breakfast was delicious & plentiful. Staff very nice & pleasant. Location Excellent with a carpark on its doorstep. Highly recommend. We would definitely return again.”

“I had stayed here previously a few years ago and was surprised to find how run down this hotel was. The layout of reception etc… had changed now requiring going up and down lots of stairs. Our beds had seen better days. The paint was peeling off our bathroom door and the television unit. The shower was freezing and shot water all over the bathroom floor. “Bed & Breakfast pulitissimo, camera ampia (quella in cui ho soggiornato io, almeno) e bagno altrettanto, ottimo comfort, finiture e mobilio di qualità, recenti ed in ottimo stato. Dotazione delle camere completa, sono presenti anche adattatori per le prese e kit per interventi di cucito d'emergenza. Gestito da persone giovani e gentilissime.
