“We enjoyed many aspects of our stay, but our first room had a very strong urine odor. Most likely a pet from a previous stay had urinated on the carpet. When we brought this to the attention of the staff, the housekeeping manager came to inspect the room but said she could not detect the smell. The hotel did respond by arranging for the carpet to be cleaned and shampooed, so we stayed in the room that night.
