“Nice cabin, comfortable, well equipped. Furnitures are cozy oldies', exactly what you expect in such a lodge, and perfectly working. More technological stuff (heating and wifi) is great. Owners are really kind and helpful. Overall a perfect stop (cost is a bit on the high side, while more or less aligned to NE Alaska' standard) ”

“First time staying at a B&B because we like our privacy. It just happened that we never did run into any other guests. It seemed that everything that you could need or want was supplied. From multiple breakfast options (with fresh baked goodies offered in the morning- nut allergy so I couldn’t partake but they looked delicious) to bug and bear spray. Very thoughtful hosts. ”

“James and Cristina are friendly and gracious proprietors of three amazing cabins, conveniently located half way up the road to McCarthy/Kennicot. The cabins are rustic but new and cozy with everything needed for a comfortable night in the Alaska wilderness. The property is forested and beautiful on the edge of a river. They provide a separate cook house, where we were able to cook our own dinner (buy groceries in Glenallen) and where they cooked a huge breakfast for our party. Note: please take...
