“Loved this hotel. Its location is amazing - up in the hills and so tranquil but still only a 10 minute drive from Chaves. The hotel has so many fruit trees and herbs - I was able to pick fresh mint to make mint tea whilst I was there. Will definitely return!”

It was good value especially compared to accommodation in Spain, where I had just been. The room was excellent - one of the largest rooms that I’ve stayed in. “Lovely clean spacious room with all the facilities we required. We did use the pool while at the hotel and thought it was excellent with plenty of sun loungers. We had breakfast at the hotel and the food was tasty and plenty of choice. We didn’t have an evening meal so can’t comment on main meals. Overall excellent value hotel and I would have no hesitation in booking again if I’m ever in Chaves.”

“The property has stunning views and spacious rooms but lack little things like tissue or a waste basket. Our room wasn’t as clean as I expected with random hair in the bathroom. The bathroom had glass walls which is ok but a door for toilet privacy would be appreciated. The shower floor wasn’t tile but linoleum that gave way as you stepped on in. There is a restaurant and bar. Food was tasty. Did not use the pool or spa. ”
