“Clean rural small town one bedroom in heart of wine country. A little hard to find (go to only cafe in town then 100 yards away). Excellent host ( speaks good English). She knows all the wine tours nearby. Nice getaway after being in Porto. Unbelievably scenery. Very private with garage parking.Highly recommend. ”

“My wife and I celebrated our 25 year wedding anniversary at the Quinta. It's location made it convenient to visit local museums, wineries and Churches. The location also allowed us to explore many nearby small towns for amazing meals and to meet lovely people. Porto is only ~1.4hrs by tollway, which is 90% of the travel. We highly recommend taking the train, just across the Douro in Régua, out to Pocinho for a relaxing lunch and walk around the quaint town before returning. The railway view...

“Excellent location, in middle of everything yet very quiet and peaceful inside. The breakfast staff was very attentive and helpful -Tiago (sorry if I spelled it wrong) was super friendly and remembered my coffee order from the day before 😃. The only suggestion is to get better shower products. Bring your own shampoo and air conditioner because they really weren’t good. I loved this place and will absolutely stay again!”
