“Casale gentilizio arredato con gusto con un invidiabile posizione tra colline disegnate da vigneti. Piscina di buone dimensioni. Camere spaziose e letti molto confortevoli. La pulizia delle camere lascia a desiderare, troppa polvere vicino le finestre e mancanza di un frigorifero in camera che non si addice ad un albergo di livello. Colazione con prodotti di ottima qualità, ampia scelta sia a vista dal buffet che a richiesta.”

“We had a comfortable room with a patio overlooking the Douro River. Staff very friendly. The only negative from our point of view was the window from the shower into the room. The botton 2/3 rds are translucent and upper 1/3 clear. If a light is turned on in bathroom bedroom is lit up as well . Also the obvious privacy issues. Other than the the room , hotel , staff, bar and restaurant are great.”

However a major road was closed nearbtge hotel and we were not warned about his in any way and when we encountered it we were directed to a different route by the police which was the scariest route I have taken in my life of 45 mins of pure hell and my husband is a very confident driver.
