  • It is on the heights of Valojoulx, a typical village of the Périgord Noir, located in the canton of Montignac-Lascaux, that you will discover the Villa de La Bachellerie on the edge of the forest.
    The villa, located in the heart of a private estate of 8 hectares, benefits from an ideal geographical location. It is located in the middle of the golden triangle bringing together Les Eyzies (Cro-Magnon man), Montignac (the caves of Lascaux IV) and Sarlat (the medieval city).
    The villa, renovated and decorated this spring by an interior decorator, offers charm, refinement and careful decoration in an interior space of 114 m2.
    We welcome you with a local basket on your arrival to taste the delicacies of our region.
    For early risers, you will have the chance to see deer that will accompany you during your breakfast.
    During the day, you can relax in a private and heated fenced swimming pool of 4.5*10m with large natural stone terrace and the gentle rocking of the song of the cicadas...
    In the evening, you can enjoy the terrace of the house facing west, having a drink with family and friends facing the magnificent sunset.
    You can have lunch on the shaded terrace on the east side.
    Children will be able to play and let off steam thanks to the many games available.
    Outside, swing, table tennis, basketball hoop, badminton - inside, children's DVDs, books, board games, Lego, markers and colored pencils... (1 bedroom is equipped with a flat screen TV)
    Below, the heart of the small village of Valojoulx with the 12th century Saint-Laurent Church listed as a historical monument, its magnificent pond and its typical and friendly farmers' market every Friday evening in the summer.
    Enjoy your holidays to the fullest, we can book visits to caves or castles on request, show you the best restaurants, offer you unusual horse or pony rides with swimming in the river, the best routes for hiking or mountain biking.
    Swimming pool open from the beginning of May to the end of September. The villa is adjoining a second cottage which also has its own swimming pool: calm and discretion guaranteed, not overlooked.

super séjour dans location très agréable tout est mis en oeuvre pour qu' on s y trouve bien.

parfait tout est prévu pour que le sejour soit agréable. Beaucoup de petites attentions qui nous donnent envie de revenir au plus vite

Nous avons passés un agréable séjour dans une maison qui ne manque de rien (idéal pour une famille). La maison est parfaitement située pour visiter les magnifiques lieux alentour ( Sarlat, Lascaux...etc..). Pour finir une propriétaire d'une très grande gentillesse et facilement joignable en cas de soucis. Nous recommandons fortement cette location

Perfect for our holiday

What a lovely arrival to this property, a warm welcome from Sandrine and a hamper of selected goodies, including local products. Thank you Sandrine for the written instructions to find the house, without which we would have struggled. It is a perfect holiday home with both indoor and outdoor space. The heated swimming pool was put to good use. The garden was much appreciated for its peace and calm and beautiful flora, especially the Albizio tree. Many thanks for making our holiday so special.

A Piece of Périgord Paradise

This property is an excellent choice for seeing the sights of Périgord and surrounding areas. There is plenty to do in the area and the house is very well equipped for the whole family. We stayed for two weeks and could have easily stayed more (perhaps next time). The property owner was on hand should the need arise and was there to welcome us on our arrival and even left us a little welcome gift, which was very much appreciated. Highly recommended to families wanting their own little piece of Périgord paradise. Thank you Sandrine - we hope to see you again! The Parsons!

Vacances Périgord

Nous y avons passé une semaine avec un couple d’amis qui a un enfant de 1 an. La piscine est très bien placée, au calme et sécurisée. Nous avons beaucoup utilisés la plancha, très pratique car facile à nettoyer 😊 à moins de 15 mn en voiture il y a la grotte de Lascaux 2, Sarlat se trouve à 30 mn. La semaine est passée vite car géniale !!! Nous recommandons cette location. Sandrine a été disponible en cas d’interrogations.

Des vacances parfaites dans une très belle maison

La location de la très jolie maison de Madame Verdier a coché toutes les cases de ce que nous recherchions, à savoir : * un endroit au calme absolu avec une piscine privative chauffée et très agréable * une maison récemment rénovée avec beaucoup de goût et d’intelligence * une propreté irréprochable * un équipement ultra complet (il ne manque rien) * une literie de qualité * une localisation idéale dans une très belle région connue pour son Histoire et sa gastronomie Bon à savoir : * la maison reste surprenamment très fraîche en cas de fortes chaleurs extérieures, ce qui autorise des nuits particulièrement reposantes * la voiture est nécessaire pour se rendre aux restaurants alentours ou pour faire des courses. Pour nous, ça n’était pas du tout un problème mais bien le corollaire logique d’une maison située au calme à la campagne * les propriétaires ne sont pas directement sur place mais totalement disponibles au besoin Enfin, nous remercions Madame Verdier pour son joli panier gourmand de bienvenue et sa souplesse, considérant que nous avons effectué notre réservation en dernière minute. Assurément, nous retenons cette adresse pour un futur nouveau séjour en Dordogne et la recommandons à nos proches.

A brilliant place for a relaxing family holiday

This place really is brilliant. So peaceful and so much to keep all the family entertained and/or relaxed. A really good sized house, tastefully decorated, with 3 bedrooms, all together at the far end of the house. It has a fully equipped kitchen - we cooked everyday and had everything we needed to prepare meals. The lounge and office area are bigger than they look and you have the option to dine inside or outside. The house is all on one level and is attached to the house next door, by the far wall in the lounge, but to all extents and purposes, it's a detached house. We barely saw and rarely heard the people staying in the house next door. The outside area is brilliant - so much space for the kids to run and play. They loved the play frame and the basketball net. There's also a ping pong table, badminton and other games for the family to enjoy. The best thing about this place though is the pool. It was heated and fenced and a really good size. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place. It's really good value for money, and a great base to explore the surrounding area. We used the local bakery in Montignac Lascaux town, and the Intermarche on the outskirts of ML - both were great and had everything we needed. They were about a 12 minute drive away. Sarlat is a 25 minute drive, Perigueux is about an hour away and there are many other great places to visit in between. Thanks to Sandrine for her help and hospitality.

Très agréable.

Nous avons eu un accueil chaleureux avec des explications claires et complètes sur le fonctionnement de l'électroménager, les visites et balades de la région, les restaurants, les activités .... Nous avons apprécié la disponibilité et la gentillesse des propriétaires. La location est très propre agréable et avec tout le confort. Et la cerise sur le gâteau, une super piscine chauffée à 28°.

Superbe maison pour des vacances au calme

Maison idéale pour des vacances au calme dans un écrin de verdure. La maison est tout équipée, il y a une structure de jeux pour les enfants jusque 7 ans et la piscine avec ses parasols est une invitation au repos et aux jeux avec les enfants. Et la région est superbe à visiter. Nous reviendrons.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Endroit calme et reposant. Le site est magnifique. Dommage que le temps n’était pas au rendez-vous. Mais nous avons pu faire de belles balades munis d’un bon parapluie.
