Very uncomfortable atmosphere

This property was essentially a boarding house. There were several other rooms occupied on my floor. Communication was difficult. If I had a car I would have not stayed. The kitchen was not tidy. The refrigerator was Packed full of food. The room was not tidy, there was no fitted sheet on the bed, just a top sheet that was not even tucked around the mattress. It was a terrible experience. I did not feel comfortable, couldn’t wait to leave.

This is NOT an entire house for rent

The view from the balcony was pretty, and the host Belinda was perfectly nice and helpful. But the listing is dishonest -- you don't get the "entire house" as the listing says. It's just a bedroom with a private bath, and access to a shared kitchen and sitting area. There seem to be many other tenants staying in the same house.

NOT an entire house

This listing is incredibly misleading, and I wish I had read the other reviews when I was choosing a place to stay. The listing says "entire house" with laundry etc. The reality is that four young men from UBC are living there, the refrigerator is full of their stuff, and we did not feel welcome anywhere outside of our bedroom. A student had a loud conversation just outside our bedroom door early in the morning, and someone was in the kitchen and dining room each day when we were leaving. This is a hostel, not an entire house for your use. The double-pane window leaks, so the view is obscured, and the outdoor patio is rather sad. We will not stay here again, and I am sorry that I didn't read the reviews before making this booking.

Not private, sort of a mix of university students rentals and several short term rentals.Lots of stairs so difficult for seniors to carry their suitcases to the 3rd floor. The frig was full of students food so not conducive to meal prep. Kitchen was certainly not clean. The bathroom shower curtain was really disgusting.Thermostat in bedroom was not working and temperature stayed at 26 Celsius.The room had a spectacular view.

Completely misadvertised. It's a shared space....which is not what we intended to book, and it was not described that way at all. We didn't even spend the night there, we went and booked a different place, because who in there right minds books a stay to share with someone else? This isn't a hostel. Absolute garbage that this person is able to get away with this. Expedia or Vrbo should step in.
