“I am shocked that the Inn at the Beach has 9.8 stars. The location was the best feature, close to the beach and walkable to downtown.
We arrived to a room filled with black hair all over the bathroom, a cockroach on the floor, and a smell that lasted the whole weekend. We politely told the front desk and they re-cleaned the room but there was still black hair everywhere. We were told the reason for the smell was the sprinklers were on earlier in the day. “Kenneth was AMAZING!! Our first night was ROUGH. We were put in a room with an adjoining door and we could hear EVERYTHING-them opening cans, conversations, and even wrappers being opened. Then around 3 A.M. someone was BANGING doors (opening and closing Multiple times).
We were prepared to move hotels as we had another two nights ahead of us, but Kenneth didn’t hesitate to move us to another room AND UPGRADE to a Wonderful suite. We had 2 more QUIET nights stay in a well equipped room.
