Scenic walks lead through the surrounding landscape towards the dramatic Undercliff, St Catherine’s Lighthouse, Castlehaven and Reeth Bay. The nearby Isle of Wight Coast Path rewards walkers with far-reaching sea views, rugged cliffs and hidden coves.

After a day outdoors, stop for refreshments at The Buddle Inn, one of the Island’s oldest coaching inns. This characterful, centuries-old pub near St Catherine’s Point is steeped in local history and offers an atmospheric place to enjoy a drink or meal.

Nearby Ventnor has a popular beach and a tempting selection of independent cafés and restaurants. Steephill Cove and Ventnor Botanic Garden are further highlights of this beautiful part of the Island.
