“The property is a period house and the owner Chris has kept it to that style, very clean with a excellent breakfast cooked to perfection by Chris with a wide and varied choice of food. Whitwell is a designated dark sky area with some very pretty houses lots of thatched roofs,the local pub is only a few minutes walk and well worth a visit,the food is excellent. I would definitely recommend a stay at Kingsmede ,it fulfilled all my wife and I hopes”

“The hotel is in a good location in Ventnor with easy access to the local amenities. The gardens are stunning and there was a good selection of food available at breakfast. Our only complaint was the shower as it was very low pressure. The hotel were very accommodating with our last minute booking and were able to store our bicycles for us overnight.”

“Stunning property & grounds with a beautiful stream & gardens galore. Historic grain mill turned into an adorable cottage with all the amenities. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend to others. Especially fabulous for families, our boys adored staying in the Romany Wagon! We were fortunate to meet the owners, Rebecca & Guy, who are lovely hosts. Very close to both the ferry port & sights we visited. ”

“Going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the sea was nostalgic and calming. The property was welcoming, clean and tastefully furnished. We felt safe, and had all we needed. Tea and Cadbury’s chocolate fingers were so lovely on arrival. Would love to return one day.”
