“So glad to have discovered this place- off the main roads. The whole experience was great- staff were lovely, dogs were made welcome too! Like stepping into an Agatha Christie movie, beautiful furnishings of an era in history. The grounds were well maintained and we loved the Monet Garden - with deer resting near the pond, all very magical. Definitely worth an annual visit ”

“Hotel was amazing. We were a little disappointed with the original room with partial sea view as brick wall and tall tree prevented seeing the view. The reception staff were very helpful and were able to move us to a room with beautiful view over the bay which was stunning. . All the staff were friendly and helpful. Will definately be returning to the hotel in the future. ”

“Wonderful stay in a magnificent historic building with friendly staff, fantastic views and great food. Our room had a view of the forest where we saw deer & rabbits wandering by. We had great food, both casual and formal dining. The location is truly buried in the forest, peaceful and great for walking. A true sanctuary get away.”
