Best rental property ever
It is a dream property for our visit to Panama. Sitting in the Westin Playa Bonita Village, we enjoyed top rated amenities from the hotel at a much cheaper price. The location is far from all the noises while having easy access to all destinations. The restaurants located in just a mile away are top rated as well. The owner is very friendly and flexible as well. Strongly recommended!

Perfect visit with family
We have tons of family in Panama and this property was perfect for both our family of 4 visiting from the US and gave us the ability to entertain our family in Panama. The area is nice, with proximity to Panama City. The apartment had most of what we needed and the owners were easy to communicate with, even on Christmas day.

Beautiful place and great hosts
We enjoyed a lovely two week stay at this property and really appreciated the responsiveness of our hosts. The place is even more beautiful IRL and the views are breathtaking. Would absolutely return. I do think it’s worth noting that for trips the city, it’s important to time them to avoid traffic and higher Uber costs, but none of that detracts from how we felt about our stay.

Lovely place
Condo was an excellent option. Well furnished for our needs. Amenities were great! Just keep in mind Panama City traffic is a beast from 3pm to 9pm. Plan accordingly.

Gorgeous view
Beautiful view of the jungle and ocean. Building is nice and clean. Super easy checkin and checkout process. Any question we had was answered right away. Far enough away from the city but still close enough to get to easily. Definitely a great find!

Wonderful experience all around
We really enjoyed our stay at the condo in Casa Bonita. We had a beautiful view from the 14th floor, the condo is spacious and clean, and the property managers were very helpful and responsive. The fitness center was well-equipped, and we enjoyed using the pool at the Pearl Club. The staff at Casa Bonita is courteous and friendly.

Everything We Expected
Can't say enough good things about the unit. Location was great, amazing view of the jungle and ocean. Evenings on the balcony were wonderful, listening to the birds and insects, very relaxing. Was a great place to come back to after a day of exploring Panama. Plenty of room for both couples to spread out and relax. Master room was comfortable and the master shower with walk-in closet very nice. Fun in the evenings to prepare meals and talk about the day of exploring. Though outside of Panama City we had no issues getting Uber rides into town or arranging pickups for our various excursions. Definitely be aware of traffic going into and out of Panama City. The traffic can be unreal and going over the Bridge time consuming. Recommend using Uber, very convenient and inexpensive. Check in was very easy and the desk staff were super friendly and very helpful. Communicating with the host Remi was super easy and responses to questions were always helpful and timely. Highly recommend the property.

Great Relaxing Accommodation
The property was as described on the website. It was clean and well kept. The owner was very accommodating, allowing us flexibility with check-in and out. We only had a hiccup with the washing machine, and the owner quickly responded and provided a solution when the mechanical issue arose with the washer. I will stay at this location again!! Great Place to Stay in Panama
The property was very clean and a lot more bright and spacious than we expected and were used to coming from Toronto. It backs on the rainforest and gives a great view (especially at night) of the Canal and the boats as they turn on their lights. The master suite was huge and the bathroom spa like with a walk in closet. The kids loved their bedroom with a separate TV from the living room and master with both also have their own TV. The suite also has a full kitchen and laundry room which was very convenient. Remi and Ana were great hosts always very responsive and answered our questions quickly. The staff in the building were very attentive. The only issue we had during our stay were that the building hot tub and pool were under going maintenance and so were not accessible, but that didn't diminish our stay as we spent all of our time at the club pool and beach anyway. We did a little shopping at the local store in Casa Bonita and the Riba supermarket nearby. We bought the Pearl Club pool membership for $107 USD for a week for the whole family which was an amazing value vs the $75 USD per person per day for the Westin pool. We also got access to the gym (same gym as the Westin) as part of this membership, and the pay as you go Spa (also same as the Westin). We also decided to save money and not rent a car, and opted to use taxis to get around which worked well. We arranged transportation from the airport back to the Casa Bonita as well. Overall it was a great experience and would highly recommend this host and condo for your trip to Panama.

Best VRBO We Have Had!
First, the owners of this spectacular high-rise unit gave the most detailed instructions about operations, location, etc. we have ever seen from the probably 12 or more VRBO properties we have rented. It really took the stress away. I had a couple of questions during our stay about shopping, and the owners were very quick to respond, and had precise and useful answers. As for the property itself, it was immaculate. It was decorated very tastefully and discretely. Lots of light, fantastic views of rain forest and Panama Bay, including the ships lining up each day to pass through the Canal. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The garage parking was clean and easy to use. Then, the quality of the swimming pools we had acces to were top. We joined the Pearl Club for a week (100 USD + 7% tax), and enjoyed two large pristine pools, a full weight and fitness room (TRX bands, cardio, weights, etc. etc.). All right next to the beach and surrounded by coconut palms. Very relaxing and luxurious, and no booming radios or noise, and hardly any people (May/June is not high season). We could not have enjoyed our stay at Casa Bonita more. We drove into Panama City or Casco Antiguo every day (our boys took Spanish lessons in Casco Antiguo), and the drive was a 17 minute easy and peaceful, even at 8:30 in the morning, and noon when I picked them up. Compared with staying in the business area of Panama City, we made a great choice to stay outside the city and driven in when we needed to. Thank you Remi and Ana Cecilia!

Perfect stay close to the city
We had a great time in the apartment, the beachclub is a 1 min walk and an oasis of piece and quiet. The apartment is very clean and spacious for our family with tv (with netflix) and good wifi. The host answers questions very fast and the people working in the building are very friendly. The closeby Westin (5 min walk) offers restaurants etc. All in all a very pleasant stay.

We enjoyed our stay.
The property is a dream come though. Remember to tip for each service to show appreciation to the wonderful staff. The staff was very helpful and attended to our every need. The food is expensive if you don't have the all inclusive package. However, the food was delicious well seasoned and the best steak of my life with a 4 course meal including dessert, entree, soup and salad. Loved the ambience and common quarters.

Staying in Casa Bonita is Like Staying in Paradise!
This apartment is beautiful, modern, spacious with a great view of both the forest and the ocean. At night we could hear Howler monkeys making mating calls from the balcony! There were exotic birds and colorful flowers everywhere! The Owner / Property Manager was there when we arrived to welcome us and assist us with the check-in. He was also available by phone during our stay. The Concierge Staff is very hospitable and customer service oriented. The Pearl Club Staff was wonderful and paying extra to use that pool with the free cabanas and towels was worth it! The community is prestigious and gated, so this "boutique" neighborhood is super safe. The only other properties are the Westin Beach Resort and the Dreams All Inclusive Resort. The only problem is that it is a bit out of the way. The closest town is Veracruz Beach (10 minutes away) with some beachfront open air seafood restaurants and a tiny Asian general store. However, all supermarkets, pharmacies, malls, movie theaters, fine dining restaurants, night life, etc. are in Panama City. During "Rush-Hour" traffic it is difficult to get an Uber or a Taxi to take you somewhere or bring you back. This was our 4th visit to Panama and previously have stayed in apartments on Avenida Balboa, Punta Paitilla & Punta Pacifica. We would definitely want to stay at Casa Bonita again but will rent a car next time.

Our Panama vacation
We were definitely happy with this condo unit. Check in was a breeze, easy access to the key - they even provided the bottled water I requested because we arrived so late and wouldn't have a chance to find a store. Although, as we were told, the refrigerator water was just fine. I think the balcony was my favorite part of the trip. We loved to hang out there in the morning and late afternoon before dinner. The view of the forest was so restful and of course you can see the ships in the water too. There was a nice breeze and much needed shade! The tv remote controls took a bit of figuring out but that's to be expected when there are three tvs' and twice as many remotes! The Westin pools were incredible but it was disappointing not to be able to swim in the water because of jellyfish and stingrays. It was fun to watch the little stingrays playing in the surf. All in all we had a very interesting trip.

Great Location and Condo, But Had Some Issues
The condo was in an absolutely wonderful building and location right near the beach and not too far from Casco Viejo. It was definitely well-appointed for a family vacation. Super relaxing, amazing views, and the Pearl Club was beyond (well worth the additional nominal cost). One bummer was that the dishwasher didn't work during the entire stay. We did also want to caution future travelers that we noticed and reported an internal camera that was not disclosed. Privacy is very important to us particularly when traveling with our young sons.

Dear Cindy, thank you very much for your review. Pity that you did not mention any of this on the several occasions that we met. I would have explained to you that the camera, while pointing towards the front door, was in fact not even connected. That said, since you have also reported this to the system, we have removed it all together, so there is no more disconnected camera facing the front door. As for the dishwasher, we apologize, once again, for the inconvenience. As explained to you in person,, there was a faulty part, which we brought from abroad, and as you have seen, it was being fixed as you left the condo, so the dishwasher is now fully functional, Kind regards, and all the best to you and your family.

Our family and friends were looking forward to staying at the apartment at Casa Bonita in Playa Bonita Panama. Here are three reasons we left without staying a day and something to consider before you reserve. 1. The first 8 pictures you see in this advertisement is the Pearl Club, which is not included in the rental price of the apartment. It is an extra charge. The building in the back of the first picture is where the apartment is and the building with the pool you see in front is the Pearl Club. 2. Westin Hotel Pool Towel Cards. The apartment owners email you that you are "in theory" not supposed to use the Westin Hotel pools but because per the apartment owners "there are no controls," so you can use the pool towel cards the owners provide and use the hotels pools. We asked the Westin Hotel about the information we were emailed of using the pool towel cards and they said the owners of these apartments should not have the cards or offer them to renters and the pools are for guests of the hotel only. 3. We were sent an email with one apartment and then told the day we arrived they made a mistake and it was another apartment we would need to move to. After these three experiences with the owners of the apartment we did not trust how our stay would be, so we left and enjoyed our vacation at the nearby hotel and experienced nothing but good surprises for the rest of the trip. We will come back to Playa Bonita but we will not reserve with these owners or recommend them.

Resort property was very nice but a bit removed from the city core. View of 14i was from backside, mostly jungle but included ocean view. Host Manager was very helpful and accommodating. Apparently a new cleaner was hired and a reason for incompletions upon checkin. Billing was through Homeaway and in Euros.

Our family of 6 really enjoyed our time at Playa Bonita during spring break. We must admit, we had a tough beginning; 4am flight, got to resort starving, didn't read any check in instructions, had the slowest server at lunch possible. After a mojito poolside, we were ready to vacation! The condo at the Playa Bonita was the perfect size, fit us very comfortably, and great location. We felt like we were the only people there! We opted to purchase the week membership at the Pearl so that we could use the less crowded pool and it was well worth the reasonable price tag. This club only has bar/restaurant open Friday-Sunday so the other days you will need to bring something down with you or just hop over to the Westin pool for a quick bite, the quesadillas and margaritas were a big hit. The gym at the condo is fine, the gym at the Pearl is super nice so either way you have choices. We had a few meals at the Westin, all were great, especially the breakfast buffet. Only thing negative I will say that restaurants do not store their wine in any temp controlled storage. At the end of the night we played pool and ping pong in the game room at the condo, which we had all to ourselves every night which the boys loved. Before our trip I tried to make tour arrangements and had a difficult time, couldn't believe I was flying to a foreign country with no plans. There is a tourism desk literally right next to the check in counter at the Westin that can plan everything you want to do with no problems at all. They were very helpful and explained all the options quite well. We had spotty luck with the concierge for dinner recommendations but superb assistance from the bellmen for help with transportation every single time we wanted to go somewhere. Overall we had an amazing time and the boys made memories to last a lifetime. Panama City is such a beautiful combination of old architecture mixed with modern. The Panama Canal museum in Casco Viejo is a must do either before or after the canal ride itself, which is just mind blowing. And to spend the day fishing on a lake in the canal with the sounds of monkeys in the background, doesn't get much better! Thank you for such a great stay!!

Great visit to this beautiful condo, February 2019
We really enjoyed staying in this beautiful condo. Close enough to the city, but far enough away from the city to relax. We split our time in Panama between Casco Viejo and here. We needed a bit of relaxation after the fast pace of the Casco and this place did the trick. Quiet, beautiful views, great rooftop pool. The unit was very quiet and well appointed. We enjoyed the beautiful rooftop pool in Casa Bonita vs. the pools at the Westin which were filled with exuberant conventioneers. Cooked in the condo but also enjoyed the meals at the different restaurants at the Westin. We did miss the fantastic restaurants in Casco, but in general food was good at the Westin. Would highly recommend this unit to couples or families. Owners provided great information for our stay.

Views & relaxation
Casa Bonita is a condo complex adjacent to the Westin Hotel. We came to visit our son who is serving in the Peace Corps, and this was a nice 2 day respite before heading to his village. This condo is well appointed and parking right under the building, We did venture to Veracruz, 8 minutes North for a memorable seafood lunch overlooking the beach. The rooftop pool area has spectacular views. Nice gym, AC worked great. Definitely recommend!

Canal and rainforest views to entertain you all day long
We loved the view of the boats, cruise ships, container ships heading in and out of the canal all day long. The balcony was comfortable and inviting for a drink at the end of a day at the pool. The condo is a large 2 bedroom and the air conditioning works well. We paid the extra for the Pearl Club and had a cabana in the shade every day. The pools are kept very clean. We went to the upstairs pool in the evening and the games room when there wasn't much going on over at the Westin Resort. The Pearl Deli is a little gem with all your breakfast, lunch and simple dinner needs if you are creative. Panama Pacifico has a RiSmith for extra groceries. The Pearl Club has excellent meals around the weekend and the Westin has nice restaurants. We used a driver named Luis from Tripadvisor to get around and he spoke perfect english. We toured the canal, monkey island and casco viejo or old town while we were there. Loved the people and felt very safe!

8 great days in Panama. Only got caught in the rain once. I’m glad we rented a car as it gave us some flexibility for dining and touring the sites. Beautiful condo, nice pools, beaches are not really for swimming.

Beautiful apartment and surroundings
We stayed at this Playa Bonita apartment on our way back from Equador. This was a good idea. This is a gated property complex that is very releaxing and very well maintained. It is somewhat secluded at ten minutes from Panama City. The apartment is realy a luxury apartment, large and very well decorated. We were three and we had room to spare. The view is like a postcard with the Pacific Ocean and a park. The place was spotless and Remi would respond immediatly to our questions. It is good to have a car to go eat at nearby restaurants on the beach or to go in town. We enjoyed are stay and we would stop there again if we have the opportunity.

Absolutely amazing!
Couldn't ask for a more perfect vacation home. The condo building is so modern and the condo it self was sooo nice...especially the gorgeous windows and the view of the canal. It's farther away from Panama City than expected but that wasn't to big and issue. Sharing the amenities with the Westin was great felt like resort living with half the costs. The staff in the building were so nice and helpful. They helped with where to go getting cabs and even picked up my food from the Westin! Can't wait to go back !

Appartement spacieux et bien décoré. Plage et piscines à proximité. Nous y avons passé de très belles vacances. Seul point négatif: peu de fournitures habituellent inclues dans les appartements que nous avons loués jusqu'à présent, par exemple pas de papier mouchoir, essuie-tout, savon à lave-vaisselle

I really like it, for me it was perfect no noise, at night nothing but peaceful sleep.. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Great owner's & ideal location for relaxing!
I can not say enough about how wonderful the owners are for working with my booking situation. Any time I had questions I got quick responses. The apartment was extremely clean & the kitchen was well furnished. We enjoyed our coffee and breakfast almost every morning looking at the canal. The apartment location is great because you are close enough to get to the city for dinner & shopping but can enjoy the beauty of the land back at the apartment. Loved the view of the canal! The staff is very friendly and can help you with anything you are needing. The pools are amazing. There were very few people there at the time we stayed so we had plenty of places to hang out. I will definitely plan another trip to stay at the apartment to enjoy all the natural beauty. This would be a perfect get away to get rest and enjoy the spa. In all we were very happy with our stay.
