Come and Seas the Day in this beautiful cottage by the sea. 1 bedroom, 1 bath with convertible sofa; sleeps 2 adults and an additional child in futon; with plenty of closet and storage space. Includes washer and dryer and a fully functional kitchen with all the utensils and appliances needed to prepare your meals. Nettles Island is an Ocean to River five-star resort community. Located just across the street from the Atlantic Ocean and surrounded by the Indian River. Nettles Island is the perfect spot to spend your family vacation, the weekend at the beach or the entire winter escaping from the northern cold weather.

Nettles Island has a private marina with boat slip rentals, a grocery market that serves up the best freshly made sandwiches and pizza, a hair salon as well as a key west style restaurant.

Good location and nice to pay extra for gulf cart. Nettles island is a wonderful place to vacation- just in a different house. The house is old, patched up with paint, dirty and has cockroaches. We just kinda tried to look at it as we are going to enjoy our vacation anyways and spend very little time in this house.

Property was extremely unsanitary and dirty

As I entered the unit, there was a stench of mold and mildew. One side of the trailer's wall was bubbled out from obvious water intrusion. I would imagine that's where the mold and mildew is located. In the screened-in patio there was an empty water bottle (another one under the couch by the TV) and two sub sandwiches left in a cooler. The bathroom was obviously not cleaned well. There were long black hairs and dirt on the tub. EVERY wall and molding in the unit was filthy. The fridge door was filled with open and used condiments. I was not interested in using said condiments. The owner did have a cabinet above the fridge marked on the inside door "For the owner only". This consisted of a bottle of vodka, bottles of wine and an open bottle of cranberry juice. If I could put zero Stars, I would.

Could of been cleaned

Not clean bug in bed needed a lamp in TV room. Would not go back need to get a better cleaning agency. All numbers worn off stove top and toaster oven not very useful plus dirty.

The place had everything we needed. It was a great surprise that a golf cart came with it.

The thing I didn’t like was the food in cupboard s and fridge. Most all the drawers and closets were packed full of old pillows, comforters . Bathroom cabinet full of leftover shampoos,toothpaste etc. Not much room for our stuff.

Dirty and old

The pictures are not realistic. It appears to be cute and clean, but it is horrible. Booked for 9 nights and left after 1 night. Very disappointing!!
