Why
First of all it was in a camp ground. When we tried to check in it wasn’t ready-we were supposed to be there the day before but had a setback. I had sent an email stating we would not be arriving until the next morning-never did a response back. I even stated they didn’t need to refund our money for the night because it was our fault. But when we got there the house wasn’t even ready. We decided to leave after the manger straight out lied to us about someone being there the day we supposed to be there. Now instead of returning our money I had to get my attorney involved. This listing should be taken down.

Plenty of room for the 4 of us and infant. Very basic property. Bathroom toilet kept running, they fixed the same day. Men working on toilet very nice and polite. No real issues.

Pretty good and affordable
Place was pretty nice. Clean and spacious. Location is tricky to find but once you do not a problem. Nice community pool right below the house. Family really enjoyed it.

Perfect location and space for our family!
We really enjoyed our first experience with staying in a vrbo. This house had lots of beds for everyone in our family of seven to sleep. The location was great for our visit to the ark and creation museum. We really liked that it was on a camp ground as our 3 year old enjoyed the playground and everyone enjoyed the swimming pool. I liked that the pool was in viewing distance from the house. The house is a bit older but is updated. Some doors are hard to close, but this spaced work well for our immediate family and was much nicer than trying to find a hotel with adjoining rooms. If we are ever back in the same area we would be happy to stay again.

Minimal supplies in kitchen, had to have maintenance to clean commodes upon our arrival. Nice location to Ark Encounter and restaurants If housekeeping were up to par it would have been so nice for a group

Great location, with potential
We loved the location of this property (we were visiting the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum for the week). Upon arrival, none of the codes worked to gain entry. We had to wait about 30 minutes before that was resolved. Inside we found lots of stink bugs throughout. I had to kill a few every day we were there (almost a week). The jacuzzi tub wasn't working and we weren't notified of this (big bummer as we were on our feet all day everyday). A window sill in the tv room had a used popsicle stick and crumpled napkin leftover. The kitchen lacked a few necessities which we found problematic (ice cube trays, decent knives, scissors, strainer, peeler, measuring cups, microwavable bowls and plates).

Great location btwn Creation Museum and Ark Encounter!
This was our first VRBO rental. Overall happy with our stay. Basic setup in a country campground setting. Inside was clean. Staff was easy to contact and made themselves available for any needs. Would rent here again.

Not the best place I’ve stayed
I am unable to leave a favorable review for our stay at this VRBO for several reasons. 1. Check-in: First, we were not contacted with the door code prior to arrival. Second, nowhere in the description of this location does it say it is located in an RV park which made it very difficult to find. After several confusing loops around the property in search of the house, we had to call the manager. Once it was located and we were given the code, we were still unable to get in because the code was incorrect. We had to wait for someone to come help us and he also had an incorrect code. Needless to say, we were tired and frustrated with the wait. 2. Cleanliness: One of the bathrooms had a dirty shower- hair and dirt were visible and a used loofa hung in the shower. There was a popsicle stick and wrapper on a window sill in the living room. There were food particles in both sink drains. The check out instructions include sweeping which seems a lot to ask when a cleaning fee has already been charged. The broom closet contained black mold which is very dangerous to some people. 3. Maintenance: Several doors, including a closet containing cleaning supplies, do not latch. Two unused white wall mounted security “boxes” in the living room have long wires hanging from them- a serious danger for children!! Toilet seats in two bathrooms are very loose and caused our toddler to slip off and fall. 4. Mild personal frustrations: After a busy day, we returned to take naps. About the time we got the children down for a nap, a mower began driving by the windows. It would be nice if this was done after check out, between guests. Also, included in the description for this property is the swimming pool. Perhaps dates and times of when it is open/closed should also be included. The non-working jacuzzi tub was disappointing.

Nice Property
This is a nice property, especially if you are visiting the Ark and/or Creation Museum. It's almost perfectly centered between the two attractions. It's also within a few minutes of great shopping, dining, and entertainment. It's also about 30 minutes from Cincinnati, where we visited the Newport Aquarium, which is another awesome place to visit. The house is oddly located within a campground. You actually drive through the campground to get to the house. This isn't a big deal, but we did have a hard time finding it in the dark. The campground was quiet when we visited and it appears to be mostly long-term residents so I would anticipate that it stays pretty quiet year round. The house itself was nice. It had been newly remodeled when we were there and there were still some kinks to work out. There was also a few other small issues we had with the house but the owner was very accommodating and willing to do whatever it took to make it right. After talking with the owner, I'm confident that he will continue to make this house even better. Overall, it was a great stay and super convenient to the main attractions. We'd definitely consider staying at this house again if we are in the area.
