Beautiful house, perfect location

A stunning house, located perfectly - just the right balance of isolation and proximity to towns, tourist sites and multiple activities. The house is well equipped and very well laid out, it was also fun to find the house’s entry in the book of the architect’s work. Highly recommend.

Wonderful location

The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The views from the swimming pool were magnificent. Beatrice and Remy were very helpful. Super boulangerie at Beynac and great supermarkets in Sarlat - all very convenient. An excellent base from which to explore the Dordogne.

The most wonderful house

Our two families spent a week in this wonderful house. The pictures don’t do justice to this amazing and unique property - the house is very well designed and decorated, the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, swimming pool well maintained with a beautiful view of the valley. The house has several decks which allowed for everyone to have space to spread out.Located in a secluded area, the house allows easy access to many local attractions, restaurants and markets.The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We could not recommend this house more!

Das Haus liegt sehr schön an einem Wald. Ohne Auto geht es nicht, zum Einkaufen. Wenn das Wetter kühl ist, ist es auch im Haus sehr kühl.

Fantastisch!

Echt fantastisch. Uitzonderlijke woning, ruim, vol licht en met alle comfort. Vanuit elke kamer prachtige uitzichten. Verschillende terrassen rond de woning en een fantastisch zwembad (groter dan het op foto lijkt) met zicht op de vallei. Perfecte uitvalsbasis om de prachtige streek te ontdekken, maar even heerlijk om ter plaatse tot rust te komen. We verbleven hier twee weken, maar dat mocht gerust nog langer zijn. Een extra vermelding voor het gastvrije onthaal: uitzonderlijk vriendelijk en behulpzaam, zeker toen we bij vertrek autopech hadden en ze ons op alle mogelijke manieren bijstonden. Van harte aanbevolen.

Our Dream Home!

What a magnificent home this is! Truly beautiful with amazing vistas and beautiful grounds- contemporary architecture at it’s best. We were a family of 7 with plenty of space to share or be on your own. A beautiful space to wake up and starry your day! Everything we needed including a pool to have fun in. The various terraces to enjoy throughout the day and evening. A car is needed to explore the area. No television but who needs a tv when you can stay at the pool late and enjoy each other’s company! We took cards and a few board games with us -! A perfect place to relax in even with children!

Stunning house in the heart of the Dordogne

This is a truly beautiful architectural house conveniently located to explore the magic jewels of the Dordogne area. The house is in an isolated location with immense views, also surrounded by woodland. The outdoor dining terrace is conveniently located off the kitchen with incredible views down the valley. The swimming area is perfect for family pool time within beautiful surroundings. The house is extremely comfortable, well equipped and well laid out. We received a very warm welcome from Remi and Beatrice who were ready to help with anything. Good communication with Sophie too. We'd love to return to this special place again one day. Thank you for everything.

Séjour de rêve.

Cette maison d architecte est parfaitement intégrer à l environnement boisé situé dans le plus grand calme, c est super. Ses équipements sont complet avec un bémol pour la télévision d un autre âge, dommage. Nous avons connu quelques désagréments quand à l utilisation de la piscine qui n avait pas le bon PH, de ce fait nous n avons pas pu l utiliser de suite. Un superbe spectacle de montgolfière le matin au levé du soleil et le soir au coucher. Béatrice et Remi nous ont très bien accueilli, personnes très sympathique et très disponible quand on a besoin d eux.

Top tier...a delight in every way. A few small quibbles, none dispositive: the master bedroom bed won't agree with side sleepers and needs replacing, The poolhouse bed was represented by the delightful husband wife cleaning team as nonfunctional.The poolside stationary bike is conceptually sound but the device's maintenance has been sadly neglected and would be cyclists straddling the weather beaten wobbly seat precariously situated above an unstable and poorly designed plinth can anticipate perineal trauma.Now, if any of this discourages a stay here, I have served you poorly.Since most reviewers are not as persnickety as I am any unhappiness in an otherwise glowing review can be seen as a rule out. Glowing reviews have self-censured and so the eye is gouged and fantasy skewered by reports of imperfection. Caveat emptor.I had written this with the hope that others would resonate with what I had to say and give this house a closer look If the opposite has occurred and you have been riled up, I'm a psychiatrist and you may want to take my card.

Beautiful house in a private setting close to amenities whilst still being secluded.

We stayed for a week in July and had an amazing time. The house is beautiful and is set into the hillside of a valley just a stones throw from Beynac and Roque Gageac (we actually walked to RG). Sarlat and all the amenities that has to offer is only a 15 min drive away. Despite being so convenient the property is very secluded and peaceful. The kitchen is well appointed and there are a few outdoor areas in which you can eat whilst looking out into the valley. We were lucky enough to see a hot air balloon come across on one of the evenings. The weather was, on the whole, amazing whilst we were there (start of July) so we spent an enourmous amount of time sat by the pool with nothing but the sound of cicadas to listen to. The pool is of a reasonable size and is deep enough to dive into at one end- ideal for relaxing a playing games. Remy and Beatrice (the people who look after the property) only live up the hill and were very friendly and helpful. Overall I’d highly recommend this place. I’d we ever return to the area then we’d definitely look to return!

Wonderful location and property. Beautiful pool and decking area overlooking Dordogne countryside with hot air balloons most mornings and evenings. Beatrice and Remy gave us a very warm welcome and showed us around the house when we arrived - they live just up the road so are available in case of any issues during the stay. Some lovely villages and towns within easy driving distance and Roque Gageac is a 45 min walk through the forest. Would highly recommend.

Look no further!!!! This place is a dream!

This was the most beautiful and wonderful holiday house that we have ever seen and that we will ever see in our lives. We enjoyed this house every second. It is beautifully designed, even more beautiful as shown in the pictures. It has everything you need and much more. The heated pool with the amazing view, the clean and spacious rooms, the many terraces that all give a different view on the surroundings, the forest with foxes and deers, the play area for the children (trampoline, swing, ...) , airco. It a nutshell... it was p.e.r.f.e.c.t. The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. And the location of the house is perfect, within a 10 minutes drive from Beynac, Castelnaud-la-Chappelle, Sarlat, La Roque-Gageac, and the beautiful Dordogne and side river Céou where we spent a day in the river (ideal for small kids who cannot swim yet). LOOK NO FURTHER! Thank you for this wonderful holiday!!!

A fabulous and stylish property in a secluded yet elevated position with lovely views. The location is ideal with most of the places we wanted to visit within a 15 minute drive of the house. We really didn't encounter any problems with the house, but knew that Sophie, Remy and Beatrice were on hand to assist if needed. Would love to visit again!

Villa et propriété exceptionnelle pour un séjour inoubliable à Vezac,en Dordogne.

Nous avons passé, en famille,un séjour idyllique dans cette exceptionnelle maison d’architecte ,magnifiquement agencée. Nombreux loisirs disponibles pour tous les âges :piscine chauffée et tous ses jeux, trempoline,balançoire,baby foot badminton,tir à l arc,flechettes,très beaux livres ,beaucoup de petites voitures,randonnée à la porte de la maison. Un paradis pour tous.De nombreux sites de visites et de loisirs sont proches. Location de vélos ,au départ de la voie verte à Sarlat. Et que dire du spectacle des mongolfieres le matin et le soir. Tant qu’ à l accueil de Beatrice et Remi :remarquable.Ils sont de bons conseils et très disponibles. Habitués aux locations de vacances,nous la classons numéro un. La propriétaire est joignable et très sympathique . Surtout ne pas hésiter,de très bonnes vacances sans souci.

Traumurlaub in einem außergewöhnlichen Haus

Dieses Architektenhaus steht mitten im Wald. Durch die großen Fenster ist die naturnahe Umgebung praktisch ins Wohnzimmer integriert. Viel Platz, viel Komfort, ein Infinity-Pool runden das Objekt ab. Die Lage könnte nicht besser sein, absolut ruhig und doch nahe an den Sehenswürdigkeiten der Dordogne. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Betreuung durch die beiden Verwalter Beatrice und Remi, die jederzeit ansprechbar waren und bei Fragen sofort zur Stelle sind. Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert

Ruhe und Erholung in einem wunderbaren Haus

Wer eintauchen möchte in die historische, kulturelle und kulinarische Vielfalt des Perigords und gleichzeitig Ruhe sucht und von Natur umgeben sein möchte, wird kaum eine bessere und geeignetere Unterkunft finden. Das Haus liegt am Ende eines schmalen Weges, auf der Rückseite umgeben von Wald, vorne mit einem großartigen Ausblick auf das Tal der Dordogne, in absoluter Ruhelage. Der schön strukturierte Garten, der wunderbare Pool, zwei Terassen, ein lauschiger Bereich zum Essen unter Bäumen und genügend Platz im Haus, wenn das Wetter mal nicht so freundlich ist. Der herzliche Empfang durch Béatrice und Rémi, die etwa 150 Meter entfernt wohnen und ihre freundliche und unkomplizierte Unterstützung, wenn wir mal ein Anliegen hatten, trägt ganz maßgeblich zum Wohlfühlfaktor bei. Etwas präziser könnten die Angaben zu den Schlafzimmern sein, weil sich diese in Bezug auf Größe und Komfort beträchtlich unterscheiden. Für eine Familie sicher kein Problem, für unsere Gruppe aus zwei Paaren und einem Single aber doch nicht so einfach. Die Küche ist groß und war auch für uns begeisterte Köchinnen und Köche gut ausgestattet. Vorsicht ist am Herd geboten, der Dunstabzug ist für ordentliche Beulen geradezu perfekt positioniert. Praktisch ist auch das "Poolhaus" mit Dusche und Toilette. Insgesamt war das Objekt und seine Lage zusammen mit dem perfekten Service von Beatrice und Remy die Basis für unseren wunderbaren Urlaub in einer ebenso wunderbaren Region Frankreichs.
