Lovely Accommodation

Had really nice veiw of the ocean and great place to stay. Lots of things to do around the place lots of hikes and everything in walking distance

Great view, big picture window
Property exactly as advertised. Clean, bright, simple. Coffee and (bottled, sparkling) water appreciated. Only 4 pods for 1 day (we were staying for 2) bought our own coffee anyway, so not a problem. Advertised as sleeps 4/5 people. My husband and i brought our 2 adult daughters = 4 adults (for a local wedding) so we needed the 3 beds. We paid for 4 adults as advertised as 2 bedrooms, and 1 couch in the lounge for 4/5 people. We had enquired prior, and indeed the couch was a pull out allowing for 2 adult daughters to have own bed. However, there was no bedding at all for the couch/bed. When we enquired, they wanted to charge an extra $50 for sheets. We did not want to do this, as we had bedding in the car (we would be camping after). What would the harm be to have sheets and linens for the futon couch? As advertised?

Easy to recommend. Clean, private and spectacular view. Host responds quickly and the communication is clear. Fresh flowers in the kitchen and bathroom. Cold drinks welcoming us which is so thoughtful in the heat of summer. Our short stay was over too quick.

Beautiful, quiet, modern suite with a view in a new subdivision. Had everything we needed including use of a barbecue. Easy and quick access to main roads and local sites like Hatley Castle. Owner was easy and prompt to communicate with. Highly recommend this property.

Gorgeous view great central location Great price But uncomfortable living room furniture especially when we stayed for 15 nights Had to bring in outdoor chairs to sit on. Sofa was uncomfortable No dishwasher but appreciated laundry facilities

Convenient and great set-up!

Royal bay view in a great suite
Another great stay for us at this bit of heaven in Colwood watching the cruise ships, frieghters and navy ships go by. Just such a memorable week for us. Lots of walks in the area parks and amazing vistas. Quick drive to the inner harbour. Ek is a low profile host but very responsive if anything is needed…perfect. Suite is clean, modern and well stocked. Big screen with cable and wifi just like home. We will be back.

Amazing stay with an amazing view
We decided to stay outside of Victoria for a change and picked a perfect place at Ek's. He's a great host, close by to be able to provide any immediate support but gave us space to enjoy our privacy. The unit has an amazing view with everything you'd need for a short of longer stay. We stayed for almost two weeks and still wished we could have stayed longer. Definitely will look this place up again whenever we are due again in town. Thank you Ek for your hospitality. Enjoyed our conversation and best of luck with your next endeavor. Cheers!

Great place to stay
This was a really great place to stay. As long as you have a car, downtown Victoria is easily accessible. It was very clean. It was a nice touch for the owner to leave a few treats. I recommend leaving a wine opener and maybe an armchair would have been nice. Overall, it was a great property, easily accessible, nice looking, spacious and clean. We enjoyed our stay very much. The view was amazing. I highly recommend it.

Washing machine was broken and unavailable but otherwise it was good. Modern style. Bbq needed to be cleaned but worked fine. Views were worth it!

All the knifes and a lot plates were pretty dirty and there was a lot of somebody else’s hair in the shower and different areas of the suite when we arrived…. Was sent a detailed photo of where to park if we had a extra vehicle and then a pissed off neighbour came down asking us to move or he will have the car towed ( which could have been communicated a lot better ) to which the host then alerted us after it was too late and didn’t acknowledge they told us to park there in the first place. Apart from that the suite was pretty nice.

Beautiful property with a stunning view
Just back from a very enjoyable stay. Unit was extremely clean, comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Having a washer and dryer was a bonus. Host was quick to answer any questions.

A great show each morning
This is a well equipped suite with an incredible view of Royal Bay. Each morning we enjoyed coffee while the ships and submarine appeared for us to see. It was Fall so we expected rain, but the view was still there. The kitchen was very functional and contained everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well. We will try to book again.

This is a beautiful property with a gorgeous view. The kitchen was nicely stocked with dishes and cookware. Quiet neighbourhood with a nice walking trail close by.

Great location, close to Victoria and Sooke. BBQ was great, kitchen was good, lots of cooking utensils. Great trail outside door, view of ocean freighters and even saw a submarine go by. Residential area with private parking for very small car only. Would go back, no problem!!

The views have it
View Suite in a beautiful new view home in a great area. Views cannot be overstated. Saw things out the huge window like a full moon over the bay and ships that I'll never forget. Walking path leads to a spectacular lookout view of downtown Victoria. This was perfect for us as we love to take walks and explore. Unit itself has everything we needed and was very clean and a great value. Loved our time here and will return for sure.

We loved this place- it is clean, lovely and the host was very responsive. The only thing agains the place is that it is a little far out from downtown - but if you don't mind a bit of a jaunt, then this place is a treasure!

Spectacular location
EK’s property is exquisite! It was conveniently located for our visit to explore Victoria and Colwood. The ocean view was spectacular and his place was beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and very comfortable for our group of 5. It was equipped with everything we needed and more. Ek was incredibly helpful. He was very accommodating and very quick to respond to any questions. Would definitely recommend Ek's place to everyone who is visiting the area.

I stayed here with my family of 5. We were close to many things, and were very comfortable. The home is beautiful and the view breathtaking. My only suggestion would be to add a couple of sitting chairs in the living room. The couch is quite small and we had to sit on the floor to be together. I would recommend for sure!

This was an incredible property with extraordinary views. The house is located in a very peaceful neighborhood. We definitely want to come back but for longer next time. Property owner is very quick to respond and is very nice.
