Wonderful stay
Very cute little cabin. Host was very nice and helpful. Very comfortable bed. Beautiful private yard. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Will definitely be staying again in the future.

Cozy Getaway

Perfect Location for Royal Roads
I rented the cottage as I was doing a six day residency at Royal Roads. I was the envy of my cohort as I had all the amenities of home, had the ability to cook healthy meals, and I got to sleep on a very comfortable bed! The place is cozy and comfortable. Just perfect for me doing my studies and having some down time in the evening!

The Cozy Cottage has all you need!
The hosts keep the cottage clean , well stocked and comfortable. All the little extras were appreciated and well thought out. We loved the nautical theme. We have only two suggestions: more lighting in the kitchen (maybe some over the counters), and a new mattress (with two of us, we kept rolling in to the centre of the bed).

Wonderful cottage
We stayed for 2 nights in this lovely cottage and we were so impressed by everything from the "coziness" of the cottage, the comfortable bed, the private backyard and patio, the kitchen and bathroom with every amenity you might need. An oasis of calm & peace and an ideal location between two contrasting worlds - to drive downtown Victoria and to Mystic Beach/near Port Renfrew. Easy to find with on-site parking. As guests we felt warmly welcomed and pampered during our stay. The apartment is charming; the bed is very comfortable and the space was cool. We had our own private beautiful backyard to lounge in the morning and after a day of exploration. Lots of extras in the kitchen to prepare real healthy meals every day. Our host gifted us with her own home organically grown herbs. A real delight and beautiful aromas to cook with. Overall, we felt at home away from home. We thank our hosts. Our whole experience offered a beautiful “cozy cottage” feel !!!

Beautiful little cottage with everything we needed and more. We would have liked to meet Sarah and Adam and their dogs but I believe they were away on holidays. Backyard was well maintained and cute. Appreciated the beers and cold glasses. 😄. We would come again. Thank you.

The space was very well maintained and cozy. It was well decorated and had everything you may need for your stay. It has a nice sized outdoor space with a big hammock! Sarah and Adam really though of everything.

Great little place
Stayed here for a week, and the cottage had everything I needed. Plus to have a washer/dryer. The outside area was such a pleasant surprise. Very private, lots of patio furniture, even a hammock and use of a barbecue. Short walk to The Royal Bay Bakery(amazing) Host was super....I would stay again. Thanks so much Sarah!

Cozy Cottage met my needs again!
I love how close this place is to my daughter's apartment. I can walk down the street and I am there in 5 minutes! The cottage is very cozy and very private. The kitchen and bathroom are filled with everything you could need during your stay. Sarah and Adam are right there if you need them! I can't wait for my next stay!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property and I have to say, the pictures online do not do it justice! From the moment I arrived, I was struck by how quiet and serene the space was - a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. The apartment was beautifully furnished and well-maintained, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful throughout my stay. If I had one suggestion, it would be to update the pictures to more accurately capture the beauty and tranquillity of this property. I highly recommend it and can't wait to return!

Great Location and Host
We stayed at this cozy cottage for a short getaway to Victoria. Cottage was cute with a gorgeous outdoor area. Host was very responsive to any questions and concerns. We couldn't get the bath plug to work, and she had it replaced that day. Welcome gift including fruit, bottled water, and a few beer was appreciated! Also lots of amenities included in the bathroom, and the kitchen was well stocked with spices and other condiments. The location was awesome - quick to travel to any of the things we wanted to see and nice and quiet. Would definitely stay here again!

Nicely decorated and very clean!
Everything you would need is included. Privacy, WiFi, cable, and nice accommodations including a private back yard. Hosts are helpful and always available to help. A home away from home while on a getaway in Victoria. I will be staying here again for sure.

Winter stay at the cottage
This little cottage is really cute! Clean, beautifully decorated, with helpful hosts for any little problems. It was great to be a five-minute drive from our family (and Royal Bay Bakery🍰🧁🥧😁). Home away from Home during Royal Roads Residency
This cozy cottage was just what I needed for the 2 week intensive Royal Roads residency during my Masters degree. It had all the amenities plus more. Any communication with Sarah was quickly responded to with suggestions that made my stay even more pleasant. With the location being a short 5 min drive from campus, I was able to be connected as needed, but able to unplug and unwind after a full 8 hour class schedule. I would highly recommend this accommodation for school, professional or vacationing purposes.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay
This cottage is well set up, with many generous touches such as games to play, coffee and other complimentary foods available, and a lovely area in which to sit outside. The bed was comfortable and there’s a good lamp for reading in bed. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Quiet, Cozy and Quaint
A self contained very private patio and back yard with a BBQ. Delightful nautical theme decorates the cottage. It is close to everything including great bike and forest trails to the beaches. The only downside was that I felt that the bed could have been more comfortable, otherwise a good experience. Very quiet and Sarah and Adam in a separate house on the property are terrific hosts.

What a beautiful property - small and cozy and every detail looked after. I loved the decor and how well everything ‘fit’! The little garden oasis was just beautiful too! Cute and Comfortable Cottage
We enjoyed our cottage stay. It was the perfect size for the two of us and we appreciated all the amenities. It was nice to have access to a full kitchen. The courtyard was very peaceful to sit outside in the mornings. The drive into downtown is not too bad, and we actually enjoyed staying outside of the hustle and bustle. Would definitely stay again!

Cottage was very NICE but HOT
The cottage was very nice. Beautifully decorated. Excellent communication from the owners. Greatly exceeded our expectations. The only pressing negative is the lack of a portable air conditioning unit during hot weather. The unit is about 600 square feet and has a beautiful skylight that lets you see the stars at night. However, it also allows the western sun in the afternoon to generate very high temperatures in the unit and the portable fans just move hot air and are basically useless during a "heat dome". Makes sleep difficult. With the ability to cool things down this is a gem in the Greater Victoria area.
