“Had room 217. The bathroom needed work! The only thing nice was the counter top! The carpet need cleaned. The walls need cleaned (smoker room, wanted a non smoker room, but don’t think that mattered) got a candle to get that smoker smell out of there! bed need replaced it had a dip in it! Uncomfortable but sleep able. Thermostat wasn’t working! so thankful it was cool at night to open the window above the balcony door. But warm in there during the day!”

“The hotel was fine. Room was very adequate and very clean. Both elevators were out, which was disappointing. Breakfast was very mediocre.”

“Was double charged but morning supervisor handled it very quickly. We needed a bed and this was a good rate compared to other properties. It is an interesting part of town but would like to go back and explore it more!”

“I would have rated my stay a five out of five, however two out of the seven days that I was staying there my door was left open by the cleaning staff. When traveling as a single woman, it’s important that I feel safe and having my room left open with my belongings Inside of it definitely didn’t make me feel that way. I will say that management did respond in a very helpful manner. Even so, it’s hard to leave a gleaming review when something like this happens.”

“The hotel is situated in the heart of Youngstown downtown and YSU. The hotel’s renovation is immaculate and the decor is 5 star. I look forward to staying there again. My family and I enjoyed our stay.”
