“The hotel was great! Loved the character of the building, very comfortable bed, great location close to a lovely breakfast place, and the garden is beautiful. I even took some pictures for inspiration for my own garden. We'll be back!”

“All around great experience. Some things to take into consideration when staying in an old historic hotel… 1) Rooms are not as soundproofed. 2) Water and heating/cooling have a few quirks. This is no fault of the hotel- the charm, ambience and scenery far outweigh those unavoidable items.”

I’ve been staying here since I was in middle school, often ‘running away’ from home, to indulge in RS (back in the Pasquale’s days) and laying in bed, reading whichever Ayn Rand novel captured my mind. The staff and the hotel have - for a long time - captured a part of who I am. I’m happy to return, and discovering nothing of essence had ever really changed. ”

“We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed our time here. The interior is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, the room was very comfortable, and the mattress was excellent — we slept great. The view was absolutely stunning and added so much to the overall experience. The pool area was also fantastic and very relaxing. The only small note is that there was quite a bit of dog hair in the room, which we noticed during our stay. Other than that, everything was great and we would definitely come back”

“Struttura abbastanza datatA situata a ca. 20 minuti a piedi dal centro. La nostra stanza era molto ampia ma piuttosto buia e rumorosa a causa dell'impianto di condizionamento; abbiamo fatto presente il disagio alla reception e sono intervenuti per sistemare il problema. Bella la posizione lungo il fiume. Buona l'offerta della colazione.”
