“Prices for the room were decent. Decent in room coffee. The hospitality market at front desk has some serious usary prices however. I expect those types of prices at a concert or ball game. Evidently the cleaning staff hits our floor between 8-9am. Except for the one time we left the 'all set' tag off the door. Overall the staff were friendly and did a very good job. The breakfast is good here, well prepared and rarely was there a wait for warm food to be refilled. Moving the kitchen...

“Stayed in the motel queen room for one night… that’s the good part. Gena’s is good for one night given the location and the restaurant that serves excellent food. You need to be patient and quite sporty regarding the room. Everything is quite old and we found a wad of hair in the sheets, the bathroom is tiny and the toilet felt unstable when sitting on it. We asked for a hair dryer and the staff simply replied “no”. It’s an experience for one night, I don’t recommend for longer stays.”

“Arrived in the evening and stayed here for just one night. Porterville doesn't offer much entertainment, but the hotel is conveniently located close to some major roads to LA, Fresno and of course Sequoia National Park, which is less than an hour away. Lots of restaurants nearby (we had dinner at Denny's). Good quality hotel services and rooms, clean and comfortable, and not shabby. Small outdoor pool, but we were too tired to try it... Free complimentary breakfast of good quality. Working...
