“Stupendo appartamento immerso nella natura! Ottima accoglienza del proprietario con un cesto di frutta locale. C’era tutto anche le luci per esplorare il vulcano di notte. Di notte ti immergi nei suoni (a volte molto forti) degli animali notturni. Lo consiglio agli amanti del genere!”

However, we were initially given the wrong gate code, which caused a bit of confusion. “This place was absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! We loved our very short stay so much. In fact, if we had to plan our big island trip all over again, we would have extended our stay at this beautiful gem tucked away in the jungle. How cool to be able to go from the front porch on a walk through steam vents, with information along the way about local flowers and plants. “The property itself was clean and in a convenient location, but prospective guests should be aware that noise travels extremely easily throughout the building. We could clearly hear every footstep, running, and movement from the unit above us, especially early in the morning and late at night.The floor/ceiling construction appears to provide very little sound insulation, and the constant creaking and footsteps significantly impacted our ability to relax and sleep during our stay. “The room was a superb find. Is not a new room; however is very comfortable, clean, spacious, close to everything and with lots of amenities. Its location is right in the middle of Downtown Historic Hilo. Close to the bus terminal which can take you the Volcanos Park and other locations of Hilo. “Fabulous place to stay! Everything was clean and the processes were easy to follow. When I needed help it was immediately available. Traveling alone I didn’t need a two bedroom but it was a delicious indulgence in a great location and very comfortable, at a very fair price. I’m glad I found it and I would stay again.
