Welcome to “De Feerjenhusen” at the Haubarg in Vollerwiek—your vacation home. Vollerwiek is located on the south coast of Eiderstedt, 10 km from St. Peter-Ording. “De Feerjenhusen” (the vacation homes) are located 500 m behind the sea dike. Just a 7-minute walk takes you to my favorite spot—the bench by the DLRG lifeguard station—where you can watch the red sun sink into the sea.
In Vollerwiek, a small village characterized by agriculture and tourism—with a DLRG-patrolled swimming area and beach chairs in the summer, and a bike path at the foot of the green dike along the Eider Barrage all the way to St. Peter-Ording with views of the North Sea—you’ll experience the pure beauty of North Frisia.
Arrive, unwind, let your mind wander, soak in the vastness of the mudflats, relax, and recharge your batteries.
If you prefer a livelier atmosphere, you’ll find entertainment right nearby.
The bustling town of St. Peter-Ording, with its 12-kilometer-long sandy beach and unique stilt houses, is just a 10-minute drive away. Tönning, Husum, Friedrichstadt, or Büsum—with their historic harbors, canals, a variety of shops, cozy cafes, and restaurants serving regional cuisine—are just 15 to 30 minutes away.
I’ve been renting out vacation apartments in Eiderstedt for over 30 years. In the fall of 2019, I parted ways with the “old buildings” and built a modern vacation complex for you to feel right at home.

Your “De Feerjenhusen” vacation complex at the Haubarg in Vollerwiek includes two vacation homes. The low-allergen apartments range in size from 62 to 80 square meters and feature one to three bedrooms, in addition to a bathroom and kitchen.
All vacation apartments are equipped with everything you need to take care of yourself and feel at home.
* Underfloor heating throughout, installed under tiles and designer flooring that uses only (natural) plasticizers that are safe for your health and the environment.
* Fully equipped kitchen-living room with a ceramic cooktop, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, and electric kettle.
* Living room with a leather sofa set, dining table and chairs, a large TV, and Wi-Fi. Blankets are provided for you on the sofa.
* Bedroom with cozy, made-up beds.
* Spacious bathroom with an exterior window, shower, and basic towel amenities.
* You and your children will love the separately fenced-off section of the garden reserved for them. A garden table, chairs, and lounge chairs are, of course, provided.
* One paved parking space per apartment in front of the house

Dogs are welcome at “De Feerjenhusen” as long as they are well-behaved and house-trained. Outside the apartment, your pets must be kept on a leash on the grounds of the “De Feerjenhusen” vacation complex out of consideration for other guests.

SONNERWACHEN, at 64 square meters, is a vacation apartment with plenty of space for 2 people. Open the door to a contemporary apartment with exposed wooden beams and discover a kitchen open to the dining area featuring a cooking island, a living room, a bedroom, and a spacious bathroom with a shower.

Underfloor heating beneath the tiles ensures cozy warmth throughout the apartment. Throw blankets are provided on the leather sofa, and from the living room windows, you’ll enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of fields and meadows. Comfortable beds, along with cozy pillows and blankets, are made up upon your arrival to ensure a restful night’s sleep. In the bathroom, thick terry towels are pre-warmed for you on the towel warmers.
