“The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly when required. The room was a really good size. However, the rooms are in need of some serious updating! We had 2 plug sockets in our bedroom which were on the other side of the room. The balcony was filthy, leaves twigs etc all over the floor. The balcony railings were also a mess, covered in spiders and the chairs provided were dirty. The restaurant is lovely, clean and modern however, the actual hotel needs a full renovation and the place has so...

“Good amenities and grounds. Hotel is really showing its age, especially the rooms. Mine was very dark with a tiny bathroom. Lots of little imperfections and stains on the carpet. Definitely not worth the money I paid, £115 + for the night, solo traveller.”

“We stayed for 3 nights to explore Skipton and the Dales. The hotel is situated a distance from Skipton centre. It is a pleasant half hour walk along the canal towpath into town or a 5 min drive. The hotel is large, with carpark and with various room styles. It fronts onto a busy road so best to ask for a back facing room with a window view. Our room was on the 5th floor up in the eaves, with a velux window, no view, and was very tired and outdated especially the 90s style, grey bathroom....
