“Our room was Yew and Eye, one of the newly built cabins in the garden of this historic inn with a twist. The design is like nothing we’ve ever seen before with surprises every way you look. The room itself has human eyeballs as a decorative theme which was fascinating and amusing. The standard double bed was extremely comfortable, there was plenty of useful storage and good ventilation. “The stay was great - friendly staff; great restaurant; lovely spacious room and very comfortable bed. The only downside was that, against the owner's request, Hotels .com continue to sell this with inclusive breakfast, which isn't provided. The village has more great cafe's and bistro's than you can imagine and so breakfast 'out' was not a problem - but Hotel.com misled us with the booking”

“We had a very pleasant stay here. House is well equipped, great for relaxing in, and we had some lovely walks to/from and around Bewl water. We'd highly recommend combining a walk with lunch at the Bull Inn!”
