“The New Inn nel villaggio di Winchelsea è una piccola perla in quel meraviglioso luogo che il East Sussex. Vicinissimo a Rye ma anche a un ora di auto sia dalla Canterbury che dalle insuperabili Seven sister. Tradizione, accoglienza, pulizia,cibo locale sono le caratteristiche che saltano all'occhio e al palato per prime. Da provare assolutamente.”

“Rooms are comfortable and beds terrific. Young staff could use some hospitality training on how to be more friendly and gracious with guests, or at least a smile. Could have made an effort to be more accommodating- ie arrived just as dinner service ended. Could have offered snacks, nuts, something… Asked about GF breakfast options. Didn’t seem to know so I had to ask item by item… toast? Breakfast meats? Beans?”

“Great central location, ideal for the concert. Comfy bed with TV and bath with shower head. Clean. Friendly staff available 24hrs. Toilet cistern filled up all night so kept getting woken up and had to ask for extra toilet rolls. Seemed to be on restriction. No shower gel or soap. Simple things that would have made a big difference to ratings. Could have done with a new shower curtain and shower head holder.”

“- Room not that clean, baby found loads of hairs and things. - post-booking I got loads of repetitive spam messages to check in online days before arrival. - Facilities have restricted use, e.g. no children at pool 10am-6pm! The only reason we stayed there was so the wife can rest at the pool with the baby. - Restaurant food was pub quality but Michelin price. - "Entry" to breakfast ends at 9:30 not 10 as advertised.
