Family Homecoming
Perfect location to celebrate our mothers 82nd birthday! The cabin is perfectly appointed and immaculate! We were able to enjoy home cooked meals around a beautiful family size table. The lake view and accessibility it perfect. You can even walk into town! Loved that there were three floors. Perfect for hanging out together or getting a moment alone. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

would love to do it again.
I appreciated the stay in this beautiful home. Teepee was great. Kids went to lake and loved it. Thank you for the call before so I knew just about everything to do while staying there. Yours was the best book off every detail of our stay needed.

Amazing experience!
The property is great. We had a small family meeting here, some are from Wisconsin and others are in Denver so perfect middle point. The house is beautiful, spacious, and clean. Rick and Linda we extremely easy to work with an answered any questions we had before we arrived. The deck is great for morning coffee, the yard is perfect for daytime activities (playing cornhole, spikeball, and we set up a volleyball net), the lake is great for fishing, kayaking, or just a place to go for a quiet walk. The town of Wahoo is super close and has anything you might need. I highly recommend this for someone looking for a nice quiet getaway.

Spencer Hill
Our experience at Naw-Tee Pine Cabin at Spencer Hill was amazing. We appreciated the communication with the hosts, the cleanliness, the decor, the proximity to the lake, and all of the amenities. Rick and Linda thought of every detail, from fully supplied kitchen to outdoor games. It was an excellent setting to entertain family and some friends. The outdoor space was great for children. We highly recommend Spencer Hill cabins.

Comfort away from home
We really loved staying in this property. It was clear that Linda was very thoughtful in preparing the home for guests who wanted to stay somewhere comfortable and easy. The home was clean, had everything we needed (and more) and was such a great stay for our family. We had 5 adults and 4 children (including 2 infants) stay at the cabin and it was great for all ages. One day we had my husband's 90 year old great-grandma over for a visit as we were in Nebraska visiting family, and it was safe for her to visit even though she has mobility issues. We had such a great time and would love to visit again! Thanks, Linda!

Perfect getaway

Great escape for family Easter celebration! We had a blast - the cabin and furnishings were perfect for our gathering. Comfortable and easy location for our group traveling in for Easter festivities. Great communication and beautiful setting to boot

Amazing experience
Our stay was amazing. Linda was great to work with and very accommodating. The property is better than described and they have thought of every thing from battery powered candles on the table to binoculars and bird watching books next to the windows facing the lake. A great experience and will recommend it to anyone in the Wahoo area.

Fantastic Stay
This is a fabulous place on a lake. Fantastic house that looks exactly like the pictures and was tastefully decorated. Plenty of room and beds for everyone. This would be a great place to stay in the summer, as the outdoor living and activities would be wonderful. Owners were very organized and communicative. We will stay there again! Scott

Quick Family Getaway
The property was very well maintained and Linda was very available and prepared! There was plenty of outdoor green space for our kids to run around and the playground by the lake was perfect. Quick trips to the bakery and meat locker also were wonderful. We would recommend staying here without question!

Weekend Family Getaway
Highly recommended! We rented the cabin for a quick weekend getaway from Omaha with another family. Short and easy drive from Omaha. The three kids under the age of 4 had a blast. So much room for them to run and play outdoors and the park nearby was a huge hit and an easy walk. Bunk beds and s'mores skewers were also big hits! The cabin was amazing, VERY clean and well stocked. The owners were fabulous to work with and responded quickly with any questions. They gave great tips on local activities and restaurant recommendations. We can't wait to go back!

Great place!
Linda’s home is beautiful, clean, and she adds a lot of details to ensure you have a comfortable stay. She went out of her way to look up things for us! We enjoyed our stay and our kids had so much fun! We rented kayaks through Leaha at Hammer Outfitters (402) 719-9162. Great way to enjoy the lake!

Amazing lot, beautiful home
The property owners were very nice and helpful. The house is wonderfully stocked, the kitchen has nice cookware and plenty of supplies and the speaker system was nice to have. Plenty of room and a close walk to the lake and playground. I do like laundry access so we can come home with all clean clothes but other than that no complaints. Definitely recommend staying here

Wonderful 4th of July stay
I would highly recommend this property. Our family rented the house to celebrate my husband’s grandfather’s 90th birthday and we were able to safely have him over with some other family members without issue. The pictures do not do the home justice and everything is VERY well organized and thought through. I have stayed in many homes with my family and none have provided this much comfort, down to wood for the fire pit and skewers for s’mores! There was plenty of room for lawn games and the bedding was all extremely comfortable! Communication was excellent and prompt as well.

Excellent Getaway!
We rented for a small gathering and were able to grill out and enjoy lots of yard games with all the space. Very clean and property owners were excellent to work with. I’d recommend renting this property to anyone!

Family gathering
We celebrated grandmas 86th birthday with five generations of family at the cabin. The extensive property and lawn games kept the younger generations well entertained while the rest of us enjoyed the views from the comfort of the air conditioned great rooms.

Beautiful and relaxing
We had so much fun on our family get together. We enjoyed the little trail walk to the lake and back. The house was wonderful and had great character. The set up was perfect for family time together, whether it be dinner or gameboard night or watching tv and lounging.

everyone thinks the property is beautiful. plenty of space for visiting, playing games and just hanging out. the windows provided excellent view of wildlife, lightening bugs and cardinal:) and the storm that came through. the penny made for lots of smiles, beds comfortable, never ran out of hot water. stores close but yet area quiet and peaceful. only thing that could have made a wonderful time better, maybe a ramp instead of stairs to front door... wheelchair and old knees and hips. owners were available... thank you so very much for sharing such a great renue.

Magical!!!
Was the most magical vacation to date. House and accommodations were comparable to a high end hotel, but better with all the special touches; unique soaps, art work, decor and all feel goods of home. The propriety was exceptionally clean and well cared for. Best of all was the owners hospitality with eagerness to please. The view was breathtaking, instantly putting you at ease...we will be back as it is a close getaway for our families!

Beautiful house, close to the lake, great yard for kids and adults to play games.
My family enjoyed a weekend at Spencer Hill to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. The house is beautiful. A rustic retreat decorated in woodsy and outdoor colors. Nice big grassy area for outdoor games. Easy access to the lake, as we brought our kayaks. We enjoyed the large deck with umbrella and lots of seating, enjoyed s’mores from the fire pit, and played cards and indoor games on the large tables with 8 chairs on the main floor. The kids loved the cubby holes for sleeping and thought the woodland toy stuffed animals were perfect, especially the squirrel. Beds were very comfy. The landscaping was the ideal backdrop when we used the concrete bench to sit on with our family around for family pictures. I would recommend Spencer Hill.

Incredible place.
I have stayed in many VRBO locations-- from Alaska, to Utah, to Colorado, to Wyoming--and I think this might be my favorite. It is true luxury with a country feel. Hope to return someday! A wonderful place!

Well built home with excellent views of and a short walk to lake Wanahoo!
We really enjoyed our stay at Spencer Hill. The windows offered great views of the lake and when the adults wanted to cool off inside they helped us keep eyes on our littles. The trail down to the lake was very convenient and easy to use. The cabin itself is very well built and feels warm the moment you walk in. Additionally, the close proximity to Wahoo made picking up supplies very easy. Overall, a great experience!

Magical memories made at Spencer Hill💕
My family recently stayed at your beautiful property and had such a wonderful time! The cabin is truly amazing. From forks to towels we had everything we needed. PERFECT IN ALL WAYS!
Had my daughters 9th birthday there with a few of her friends. Things couldn't of been more perfect. The house was beautiful and the view was just as beautiful. We hopefully plan on another stay next year if possible it was not far from where we live but felt like we were a thousand miles from the hustle and bustle.

Beautiful, relaxing, everything we were looking for!
We stayed in this beautiful cabin for a girls trip and we had a wonderful time!! The cabin is just as pictured, if not more beautiful, and the views were great. Wahoo was close by for quick grocery store, gas, and ice cream runs; Omaha was close enough to not be inconvenient. The beds were all wonderfully comfortable, the owners provided tons of great info, and everything was great! Would definitely come back, and would highly recommend.

Great Place to Bring The Family
Beautiful home. Great views. We were in town to celebrate a college graduation. There were 9 of us staying in the house. There was plenty of room. Two of my grandchildren thought the beds built into the wall in the loft were pretty cool. Even the adults enjoyed bunking it downstairs. The grandchildren also enjoyed walking down to the park and playing on the gym set there. Despite the heat, we held a bean bag tournament on Sunday. The house was well stocked with everything we needed including the bean bag game. There was a Keurig in the kitchen so I didn’t have to bring mine. All we needed to bring was food. In case we had forgotten something, Wahoo was close by. It was a great weekend. Linda and Rick, thanks for sharing your home with us. We now know a great place to stay near Omaha.

Perfect in every way!
This is a beautiful property that my whole family felt was perfect! We had seniors and couples and kids, yet there seemed to be something for everyone! We reserved the house to celebrate my parent's 50th wedding anniversary and easily housed 9 family members. The house and property are beautiful and well-appointed with everything that you desire - beautiful furniture, lovely bed linens and towels, and a kitchen that contains everything you can imagine needing. The owners have thought of all of the extras you would want in your own house - we really appreciated the coffee (which we forgot!), the games and balls and bases for the kids, the sound system, and the kayaks. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck and greatly enjoyed kayaking on the lake. Linda let us know that it was fun to kayak amongst the trees in the middle of the lake, which we did, and we saw herons and turtles and otters - a really great interaction with nature. There is no swimming in the lake, but there is plenty else to do. We also explored the little town of Wahoo, which has a beautiful soldier memorial, and Omaha, which is only a short and fast trip away. There was great communication by the owners, and we felt very welcomed. We really enjoyed this property, and can't think of a thing we would change. I would highly recommend this property to anyone, and hope to be able to stay here again with my family! Many thanks to Linda and Rick for being willing to share their house.

Celebrating 50yrs with the girls
We loved our stay at Spencer Hill everything was perfect, very clean and roomy, We were 10 women celebrating my 50th birthday, since mother nature decided to rain all weekend we didn't get to enjoy the beautiful grounds, fire pit, or decks. but we spent time around the beautiful large dining room table and fireplace eating, playing games and making a lot of memories and laughing while looking out the picture windows of the beautiful landscape also got to see a wild turkey come wandering across the yard. They thought of everything and had a great book with a lot of resources for us to use and if we needed anything they were only a phone call away. I would definitely recommend this Beautiful and Peaceful home for any type of get away you are needing. Thank you to the owners Rick and Linda your place is fabulous, and you can tell the love that went into every detail of the place. hope to come back soon. Thank you again for sharing your home. Enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at your home for a girls trip and couldn't have been more pleased. It was clean and quiet and had all the amenities you could ask for. This is a great property and we will definitely be back!

Luxury cabin does not even describe this place!
When you first arrive to the cabin and step inside you quickly realize that the pictures online don't do it justice! This place is absolutely gorgeous! The entire house is basically full of windows with breathtaking views of the lake. It's quiet, serene and so very peaceful. If you like to fish this will be your new favorite place I guarantee you! If you bring children, they will fall in love with the "children's cubby" filled with some toys and a kiddy table. They have games age appropriate and outdoor toys such as a bean bag toss etc..., too many to list! The only thing we needed to bring was the food. The owners thought of every thing you could possibly need.....REALLY! This place is a hidden gem and you will not be disappointed! If you go though, take care of it as it was your own. I really believe that's why it feels like it was built yesterday!

Every Little Thing!
The Spencer Hill Cabin is simply spectacular. The quality of the construction is flawless. The details in the design and decorating are literally perfect. And that's just the CABIN. The property is impeccably cared for. The yard and landscaping are perfectly manicured. The views are so beautiful and the setting is quiet and peaceful. Each window perfectly frames a postcard perspective. A walk around the lake is easily accessible from the back door. If you are looking for relaxation and beauty - this place is for you!

Absolutely beautiful! We will definitely return.
We spent our Christmas holiday here and could not have been more pleased. The cabin is so beautiful as is the property itself. Such a special combination of luxury and comfort. We can't wait to return in the summertime!
