We had fallen in love with the Sands Hotel in an earlier overnight visit (2023). Sehr schönes Motel mit liebevoll eingerichteten Zimmern. Ruhige Lage, direkt am Strand (durch eine Strasse getrennt) gelegen. In Gehdistanz findet man zwei Restaurants und einen kleinen Markt mit Post. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder im Opononi Lighthouse Motel ...
