“Big Canoe in itself an overall top experience. Safe, peaceful and secure. Driving to "The Nest" scenic and nature laced. When we arrived to the location the surrounding area and view awaiting beat expectations. The cabin made for two was clean, had all that one needed, and the floor to glass windows allowed the view to be experienced from kitchen to bedroom. “Deer outside every morning and night was awesome. Couldn’t use fire pit outside because of dry windy weather. Very cute and clean cabin. Perfect for our family of 5. Except there is only one shower. Two bathrooms one downstairs has shower sink and toilet. The one upstairs has only toilet and sink. The downstairs bathroom has heated floors which is awesome but it’s small so the positioning of the toilet nd sink is akward. You can rest your chin on the sink while you sit down to pee. ”

“We stayed for the weekend and the cabin overall is cute and can comfortably sleep 6. The overall cleanliness of the property needs to be addressed and you could tell it was not spot cleaned at a minimum before arrival of new guests. Another issue is the WiFi password not being posted anywhere once you get on site nor in the check-in instructions (all it says is it’s located on site at arrival) with little to no cell service I had to text Walter for password when we arrived. He did respond...

“This wonderful and cozy property exceeded all expectations. Very pet friendly and the home has everything needed to immediately feel at home for both the humans and their pets. The owner was outstanding and responsive to every need, including delivering wood for the fire ring personally on Thanksgiving day! Every pet need facilitated including dishes, toys, large fenced yard, leashes, etc. Close to Ellijay attractions and downtown, also great hiking and local adventures. Will be our first...
