Affordable and good location

Everything was great except the beds are very uncomfortable. If they added a memory foam to the king and the pull out bed would easy 5 stars.

Nice Condo

Condo was very nice have rented before. The king bed in bedroom has no topper so has a gap where it makes into 2 twins. Needs a topper desperately.

Great condo with washer and dryer

This is a great condo with everything you need. Really nice full size kitchen, big bathroom, nice master suite. Best of all for me coming in on a bike with very little clothing was my own washer and dryer. Made my trip really easy to be able to wash and dry all my clothes. Great place overall!

Short get away

It was great. The room was very nice and clean. The mattresses on the beds are my only complaint, as they were pretty uncomfortable. Everything else was great!

Slumlords of Silver Mountain

The owner owns several units in the lodge and several people I talked to have had issues booking with them. If you have any other option booking with another host or through the hotel I would highly recommend it. Issues raised by previous reviewers still not addressed is the pullout couch is not suitable for sleeping so this unit would be considered comfortable for 2 people. There was also still blood on the bedding for the pullout. The units heater was broken so we didn't have adequate heat in the -12 degree temperatures. Once the owner knew of the problem he provided a space heater that was not effective at providing adequate heat and called it "a solution". I woke up several times through the night due to the cold but also to turn on the fireplace so my children had some heat. The owner had me running around the property collecting various space heaters and I had to push back until a repairman was called in which he gave the repairman my own personal cell phone number for me to deal with and handle his problem. Ultimately the owner told me he didn't want to be bothered over the holiday to discuss switching condos or refund options for my time, stress and discomfort. The amount the owner thought was adequate for compensation for the whole ordeal was a joke. During my stay he told me not to call VRBO which ultimately limits my options for getting proper compensation. I have never had such a terrible experience booking a vacation rental and the way the owner mishandled the situation was the most offensive part of it. I have been trying to be fair and reasonable and the owner has stopped communicating with me.

It was a nice big property.

Nice big property. The struggle was the old scratched up pots and pans. Everything stuck or burnt even with non-stick spray. The beds were comfy just needs to be bigger than a full size for a couple.

Spacious Condo

We enjoyed our stay in this spacious condo. It is handicapped accessible and had plenty of room for our family. It was spotless and had everything we needed. We have stayed here before, and we will return again. :)

Fun Family Ski Trip

We have stayed at Silver Mountain many times so were familiar with the lodge. The only part that was a bummer was the sofa sleeper in the living room. The mattress is so uncomfortable and low quality that sleeping on the floor was actually more comfortable. I would strongly recommend replacing it.

10% discount on the stay would be nice.

We did enjoy our stay although we did have to change rooms because the one we reserved was not clean when we arrived at 415pm. It was right by the gondola so that would have been nice but we were moved a long ways from there. Was very difficult finding the first room because no building number was given. Coffee filters would be a good addition to the room. Would be nice if we could get 10% knocked off our stay given these issues.

This is the worst vrbo i have ever been to maintenance has never been done whole room was falling apart and owners communication with tenants is terrible and they dont do anything about it

Prime location

Smooth self-service checkin & walking distance to waterpark, $1 slice pizza, froyo & a full service bar all less than 5 minutes walk. Whats not to love? However, be sure to bring your own soaps & shampoo.
