“The lobby and pool are nice. The refrigerator wasn’t as cold as it could have been. They was a microwave and iron which was good. ”

The owner offered a “better room” on the second floor, which I accepted due to exhaustion after my 7-hour drive. “I stay here frequently. Its in my home town. Its not fancy and its been here for decades but the staff is super nice, the prices are decent. Very Walkable to the beach and restaurants. I will continue staying here whenever Im visiting. ”

“Great area--restaurants (walk around), Vons supermarket directly across the street, laundry close by on Alamitos Avenue. The pool adds to the beach ambience. Lots of historic/vintage architecture in the area, so very walkable.”
