“A very happy stay. The hosts were lovely, polite and friendly. Our room was clean, bright and spacious. Breakfast was amazing. Parking right on doorstep. Will definitely stay here again.”

All hot food had been cooked probably 2 hours before. Eggs hard and shrivelled. We have stayed so many times but doubt we will return. So sorry.”

“Check in nullo (mi son state lasciate le chiavi e addio) check out peggio (non c'e posto dove lasciare le chiavi, tutto spento e chiuso.. pulizia nulla ( camera pulita 1 volta in 2 settimane) porte e pareti spesse come un foglio di carta, porta del bagno completamente imbarcata e non si chiude, finestra con serratura rotta che non si chiude.. camera davvero piccola!”

“It was very shabby and it smelt bad. It is conveniently situated for the centre of Clacton but it was very noisy and so I didn't sleep well. There was very little space in the bathroom. They don't do breakfasts so I had to schlep round town in the heat trying to find somewhere. On a positive note the gentleman was very friendly and welcoming when I checked in.”

“The hotel is extremely well situated right on the front and close to the pier. It is currently undergoing some much-needed maintenance, leading to some unwelcome building noise and obstructions. There were a number of issues with our room, including a shower which would not drain properly, and dodgy wifi, leading also to problems with the TV. “The room was a decent size and good pressure in the shower that is always good. At in the restaurant in the evening that was convenient. Sadly missed my breakfast as it isn’t Served until 9am and was too late for myself as I had to get to work. Parking is limited, but can park on the main road but it is very busy at times.”

“We stayed at the apartment for four nights while visiting family in the area and had a great experience. The apartment is spacious, very well equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There are two flights of stairs to access the apartment — this wasn’t an issue for us, but it’s something to bear in mind for guests with mobility considerations. That said, the beautiful sea views more than make up for it. Communication with the host was excellent throughout — very prompt...

“Michael was great as a host and had terrific communication. The unit is spacious and well laid out. The only issue was the couch. It looked great but was uncomfortable. The propertv is a block away from the entertainment district. Perfect place for a weekend get away. ”

“We only stayed for one night. My overall impression is a comfortable and mostly well kept facility. The staff on the reception desk were brilliant on arrival. They were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. This extended to the staff the following morning at breakfast. From being greeted at the entrance, placing a special order for vegetarian meal, to seeking assistance. There was always someone available and ready to help.
