“The cottage is lovely. I was a little surprised/disappointed by the close proximity of other houses as the pictures make it look quite rural. A good sized cottage with a beautiful garden leading out onto a recreation ground which was ideal for the children and walking the dogs. “A lovely feeling as soon as you walk in the door. A very welcoming, comfortable and pristine house. Great, secure garden and a perfect location, 5 minutes walk from Burley village where you’ll find a lovely village store, pubs, gift shops and cafes. Great for forest walks. Our Springer had a permanent grin on during our stay!”

“My husband and I enjoyed a 3 night break at The Snugg, Ellingham, near Ringwood. It was a very relaxing place to stay and it had been decorated and furnished to a very high standard. The bed was so comfortable and the linen and towels were of very high quality. There is a little courtyard garden where we sat out and enjoyed watching various birds visiting the feeder. “The Potting Shed was quirky. Sofas not very comfy and had pet hair on them. Pet hair also on floir and on and under coffee table. I found this unacceptable as I wiuld if there were a lot of human hair around.”

“The cottage is ideally located, only a short 5-10 minute drive to the coast and is on its own in a private part of the retreat. The enclosed garden is perfect if you have a dog with you and would be a lovely space to enjoy in the spring / summer. The kitchen had everything you could need and the bedrooms are light and airy, although little things like making sure there is salt in the salt grinder would be appreciated. “This cosy cottage was cute and extremely well managed by the agents who answered every query and sent out the handyman whenever we had an issue and emailed back to tell me that the problem was fixed There were six of us staying which made it cosy as there was really not much space to go to when the kids watched tv. And there were just 6 of each bowl and main plate but no side plates. There was no out door clothes line to dry clothes on but there was a rack to dry clothes indoors As required...

“This is not the Ritz - but there are some really good points - it's lovely and quiet - so a good sleep was easy. Take your own towels - ones provided were not great - I would also say take your own bedding. One major for a couple is the double is on a mezz and the toilet is down stairs - this didn't effect me as I was on my own so slept in the single room downstairs. Owner is lovely - and my stay in Sherborne very nice. Lovely place.”
