Affascinante casa georgiana con ampio giardino recintato

Costruita nel 1770, questa affascinante casa, situata nella storica città sassone di Wareham, è ideale per una famiglia o due famiglie che desiderano la facilità di avere un sacco di spazio, un giardino recintato e l'accesso a negozi, ristoranti e servizi di Wareham come così come tutti i meravigliosi siti del Dorset tra cui il Castello di Corfe e le spiagge di Purbeck nelle vicinanze.

La casa è stata restaurata con cura negli ultimi 12 anni dai proprietari che la usano ancora regolarmente.

La casa è composta da un ampio salotto con una stufa a legna; sala giochi con tavolo da biliardo e tavolo da ping pong; sala spaziosa; cucina con un Aga e un grande tavolo; cucina separata / retrocucina con piano cottura a gas e forno elettrico; 5 camere da letto; 3 bagni, 5 bagni e una sala TV separata. L'ampio giardino recintato si affaccia sul parcheggio di Howards Lane e la casa dispone di un posto auto coperto.

La disposizione della casa è la seguente:
1. Il piano terra ha un salotto, una sala giochi, 2 cucine (una con Aga e l'altra con piano cottura a gas e forno elettrico), un ripostiglio con lavatrice e asciugatrice separate, un bagno e accesso al patio e al grande giardino recintato.
2. Il primo piano ha una sala TV, bagno con doccia, bagno, WC separato, stenditoio, 3 camere da letto (una con letto matrimoniale, una con letto singolo e una con letto matrimoniale e un letto singolo).
3. All'ultimo piano ci sono 2 camere da letto e un bagno. Una camera ha letti a castello e 2 letti singoli. L'altra camera ha 3 letti singoli.

Amazing property

This stay was perfect. The property has everything.Lots of beds and bathtooms. Two well equiped kitchen and a games room.We could have asked for more. We will be trying to book again next year.

Family and friends weekend

We have had an amazing weekend at this beautiful property which is spacious, comfortable, quirky and full of home comforts. Everything you need is here and Wareham was a delight…we had fun in Wareham pottery painting at Pottery Corner and an amazing meal at The Italian Kitchen. Thank you so much.

A wonderful family holiday in Wareham

Lovely spacious house with character and variety of space ( like going back in time !) It was lovely being all together and our grandchildren loved it ! An excellent location in the centre of Wareham and also near to the coast .

Lovely characterful house

This was a really lovely place to stay. We were a group of 8 friends, 5 of whom met at university and were celebrating 40 years of knowing on another. The property is characterful and quirky, and it felt very much like staying in someone's home. Had the weather been bad we would have found plenty to do in the house as there was a games room and a piano in the living room. Two of us played the piano quite a bit over the weekend and several played both pool and table tennis. The kitchen warmed by an aga was a cosy gathering place and probably the most well-equipped kitchen that I have ever encountered in a holiday home!

Superb well situated family house

Lovely big house with large rooms. Everything works and the kitchen is especially well equipped. A lovely private garden with nice patio. Parking for one car but next to big carpark though only has max 4 hour parking. Wareham a pretty town with all amenities in. walking distance. Good games room oversll a superb family house

Golfing weekend

Property was ideal for us to have a weekend playing a couple of courses nearby and retreating to the house in the evening. Lots of space, rooms, good food options close by and a table tennis table!

Great experience from beginning to end David was always quick to respond with any questions, and very helpful I stayed with 7 friends for the weekend. We all loved the house; which is full of character, very comfortable, clean and spacious. Equipped with everything you could hope for. In a very good location to explore Wareham and lots of other places

Amazing house and holiday

What an amazing property. The pics don't do it justice, this is such a lovely place; both the house as well as Wareham and surrounding area. David was a brilliant host, providing ample info about the house and surrounding area and showing flexibility towards our arrival and departure times. I cant recommend enough. We were two families with 5 children aged 6-11. The games room is brilliant, and the drawing room is a lovely place to chill (there is no need for a TV!). We loved sitting in the garden after a day out which is very well kept. All in all a great holiday and fantastic house (sure you can tell we're slightly envious of this place)

Lovely Wareham

A lovely large family house ideally located in the heart of Wareham. This quirky traditional house is great for a large group. We were visiting as 3 families and there was plenty of room for us all. The games room was a particular highlight, as was the proximity to the quay, shops, cafes and local wall walk. The bedroom layout may need to be considered dependent on your group and if you are after modern interiors, matching bed linen and fluffy hotel towels this might not be for you. However, if you want to feel like you are getting a glimpse into another families home with it's eclectic and interesting interior you will no doubt enjoy. The property was clean and comfortable, lovely garden and seating area. Great communication from David. There is parking for 1 car, but plenty of free parking a short walk up the road. Overall a lovely couple of days away. Thank you.

Excellent stay at this quirky Georgian property.

Fabulous comfortable house for our family (aged 21 to 80) weekend away. Clean and extremely well equipped. Games room is superb. Wareham is such a great place to visit with plenty of eating places and pubs within a couple of minutes walk.

Great place for a friends and family special weekend.

We had a great time. The property is like a story book family large house with lots of interesting spaces. Very homely and very well equipped with everything. If you enjoy cooking there is every available kitchen utensil and having 2 kitchens was very useful. We spent a lot of time round the large kitchen table because it’s just made for eating, drinking and being together. The garden is lovely and we had beautiful weather. . It’s an ideal house for being together with friends and family although probably not suitable for less mobile older ones. Its position, very near the high street but still very quiet, is a plus.

Home away from home

The house is spacious, well equipped and the walled garden is lovely and well looked after. We have enjoyed staying at the house twice and highly recommend this property. You wouldn't be disappointed!

Wonderful!

This beautiful family home couldn't have been more perfect for our gathering of three generations to celebrate our parents' 90th birthdays. Everything we needed - and more. A perfect base for exploring the Isle of Purbeck and for spending many happy hours enjoying this wonderful house and garden.
