Pristine log cabin on 5 quiet acres, walking distance to cycling, fishing, boating, and tubing on the Jackson River, 10 minute drive to The Homestead resort and its world class golf courses and ski hill, 15 minutes to Lake Moomaw, the best undiscovered lake in the region. Quick 5 minute drive to newly refurbished Jefferson Baths. Spectacular massive outdoor fireplace with private deck to view the shooting stars. Wrap around porch (partially screened) to enjoy the best of Bath County. INDOOR LIVING: 2 flat-screen Smart TVs, dining table, gas stoves, hardwood floors, vaulted wood beam ceilings, open floor plan. Outdoor Ring security cams by garage and back deck. Sleeps 8.

MASTER BEDROOM: King size bed, Smart TV, huge bathroom with jacuzzi bath.

BEDROOMS 2 & 3: Jack and Jill bathrooms, walk-in closet

BEDROOM 4: Basement open layout, 2 queen beds plus pullout couch. Full bathroom, closets, outside exit.

KITCHEN: Fully equipped, stainless steel appliances, butcher block countertops, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, Crock-Pot, Instapot, toaster, knife set, dishware/flatware.

Easter getaway
My husband and I plus our 4 daughters stayed at this lovely cabin over Easter weekend. There was plenty of space for everyone and the cabin was equipped with anything you might need for a pleasant stay. It is decorated beautifully and very tastefully. A short drive to the local sights in Hot Springs. I highly recommend this property. Thank you John for a lovely weekend!

Excellent hospitality
This cabin was excellent and extremely well equipped. All bedding was luxurious and plentiful. We enjoyed the space for 6-8 adults in the dining room and living room. The outdoor fireplace was perfect on a cool night. I would highly recommend this property. Working with the owner was a pleasure!

Great family cabin
We were a family of five. One son wanted the basement to himself which was fine because there was plenty of room upstairs. Kitchen and dining room worked well for informal dining. We especially liked the screened porch. I think John should update his photos because the house has been redecorated. There is nice art on all the walls and the deerhead has been removed. Regret that we didn't plan to use the Jefferson baths. Would definitely plan on this next time.

We had the most wonderful time staying at John’s place. The cabin was beautifully decorated, has amazing outdoor living spaces and a very well stocked kitchen. A very short drive to the Jefferson Pools. I would definitely stay here again!

New Year’s Family Getaway Weekend
This place is awesome! Very spacious and came with everything we might possibly need (other than food). The owner was very communicative and helpful. We really enjoyed the views and the outdoor fireplace. It was also nice to be able to bring our two dogs. Would definitely stay here again.
