“Lovely place, sad I couldn't stay longer. The was clean warm and had everything I wanted. Breakfast was good, warm welcome. Hope I will be passing by again. ”

“Room was on the smaller side but had everything needed. Bathroom was huge with a bath which was nice but no way to control the room temperature which was on the cold side especially at night in October. It seems towel rail and heating were connected but was off. Staff didn’t seem to know how to deal with this issue. Hot water bottle needed if visiting this time of year. ”

All’arrivo una delle 2 camere non era quella concordata nella prenotazione: più piccola, con un televisore più piccolo ma soprattutto con un letto di dimensioni piccole per un uomo di altezza normale come mio marito che la prima notte ha dormito con i piedi fuori dal letto. Anche il servizio non era sicuramente da 4 stelle: in entrambe le camere mancavano asciugamani, shampoo e gel doccia (che erano assicurati nella prenotazione) e c’era parecchia polvere....

I was blown away by theirckindness and generosity. To the point at which they let us put my wedding cake in the fridge. Honestly the best hosts ive ever had. “We loved our stay! The farmhouse was so quaint and vintage and was just what we were looking for. The staff/owner was lovely, pleasant and accommodating. The classic English breakfast was delicious, especially with the recently made homemade jam. Our only issue was gps routing us in a wrong direction and not realizing the entrance was through the gate that was closed. The online map said it was .9 of a mile from the city center of Castle Combe, which is true if you walk it. That turned out...
