Wonderful Coastal Retreat, Across From Park and Sunset Lake, 3/4 Mile to Golf and Sunset Beach

Enjoy lake views from this cozy, two-story, family-friendly home located near several parks, hiking trails, and spectacular Oregon Coast beaches.

As you ascend the outer steps on to the spacious deck and into the retreat, the lower level enjoys a connected living, dining and kitchen layout as well as a main level bedroom. Prepare all your favorite recipes in the well-equipped, full kitchen (complete with a Keurig coffee maker and a toaster oven), dine together at the adjacent table for six (which can be extended to seat up to 10 people), and then meet up for movie nights in the inviting living area complete with two leather sofas and a wall-mounted flat screen TV. Additionally there is a washer, dryer, and full bathroom as well.

Ascending upstairs, you will find the two additional bedrooms and the second full bathroom. Outside, gather around the firepit to tell stories, roast marshmallows, and spot the constellations in the clear night sky. The sounds of the river and the adjoining park, makes staying so convenient for groups and families.

We truly want you to enjoy your time and make some wonderful memories with your group. That being said, this is not a party or gathering house for groups that can't control their noise levels. We have relationships with all of our neighbors who have our direct contact information. Quiet time is 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please stay indoors during this time, keep the windows and doors closed and keep the volume to an enjoyable but reasonable level. If it is loud enough to be heard outside in these conditions, it is too loud for you to remain our guest. This property includes a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. Again, please realize we want every group to enjoy their time, laugh, have fun and make memories. These devices are only to ensure noise levels don't reach a threshold that bothers our neighbors. Also, please note there is no electronic video surveillance monitoring pools or spas, or on the interior of the house.

Bedroom 3 (second level): Twin over full bunk bed + twin trundle

The pictures didn't really match the house. There were problems with the internet. The host didn't help. We had to figure it out on our own. There were ants all over. There was no salt shaker. The hide-a-bet in the living room nearly collaped.

Great location. Lots of amenities within a close drive. We had a heard of elk next door when we arrived. 10 minute drive to a lot of different cool sights from beaches to old military forts.

Husbands's birthday weekend spent with brother-in-law and myself. Very clean and nice property. We could walk to beach and the beach trail. Easy drive to Astoria or Seaside.

Arrived at 630pm to a house that wasn't cleaned. Communicated that with the rental management company " not VRBO". Went to dinner, they had someone at the house by 730. We got back to the house at 9pm and the cleaning people were leaving. It received a mediocre clean at best in that hour and a half. When i told the management company that they assured me it was done to standard. Their standards are low apparently. We still had to unpack everything after that, which sucked because the whole yard is uneven lawn, poor lighting outside, and no walkway. The deck railing need some tlc as it cannot be used for support. I believe that the pictures online were taken years ago. The couches are very worn down and have covers on them. Those were just straightened up by the cleaners. We ended up pulling them off and washing them due to all the stains. Everytime we walked into the house we would smell a weird musky smell. My allergies were horrible while I was in the house. We decided to leave a day early because we were uncomfortable being there. The photos are after the cleaning. I also read other reviews after we got there, if the shower upstairs has been unusable since August, one would think that by mid October it would be repaired. I suggest the owners do a deep cleaning on the house, but that is my opinion.

I asked if second shower was going to be working 6 months prior to our stay before booking as we had 9 adults staying in the house. Was told that it “should be fixed”. I would think 6 months is enough time to get it fixed. Management text me the day I was supposed to arrive and said it was scheduled to be fixed that day, but they were unable to get to it. Shower upstairs is still unusable. Tons of ants in kitchen which got all over our food. Had to buy ant bait ourselves. Ceiling fan in living room was not working and was told by management to use box fans that were provided at the house. 2 fans were provided but one was broken. We bought another fan and left it at the house.

Very comfortable and in a quiet and convenient location. The glimpses of the lake in the early morning with the mist clearing were beautiful. Loved the coffee place on the corner and it was fun to watch the activity in the park across the street. All and all a great place to relax and explore all the wonderful sights nearby.

Great place for friends to gather.

Property outside is okay, deck rails very unstable if you need support getting up stairs. Inside the house was nice, a little musty smelling but nice cross ventilation cleared that out. Good layout and plenty of space for 4 to 5 people.

Good location to explore the area

Used the house as a base to do a salmon charter in Astoria and to razor clam at Sunset Beach. That was a big plus. However, one shower didn’t work which we were told on the way to the house. In addition, the grill we wanted to use for the salmon we caught is unusable and completely covered in rust. A grill should not be advertised in that state. Then we had to scrub the pots and pans that had sticky layers of grease to cook. The fire pit was nice but we tried to use the lawn chairs and only one wasn’t broken. Lastly, the ladder on the bunk bed was not secure on the bottom which gave my son problems. As indicated, a good location to launch off to do things. We dug limits of razors clams at the beach and could quickly access Seaside or Astoria. Nice living room area. Other than the issues described about it was as advertised.

Warrenton beach house

Perfect for the size of our party Well stocked house. A lot of parking. We did have a leak from upstairs bathroom, down in the lower hallway. (Beyond anyone's control). Ants were found in two of three rooms.and our luggage. And bit two of the kids.

Beautiful location

We absolutely loved our stay here. It is literally 2 minutes if that to the ocean. They have the cutest coffee shop on the corner who serves the very best chai tea and they were super friendly. The view is amazing it over looks some water and there’s a tiny park right across the street. My only complaint would be the cleanliness. We asked if we could check in early and I was going to pay for it but they said no because it needed clean. 4 hrs after I asked for early check in they said we could check in There were towels in the dryer. I pulled out the couch bed for my little boy and it was so full of crumbs. There were socks under the couches. But other than that it was an amazing stay. They were easy to work with as well. To the owners please get more boy toys they were all for girls and my son was sad. lol. Thank you for wonderful memories and an amazing stay. We would love to stay here again!!

Great house to stay at with young kids

Great place for kids with lots of games and toys for them to play with, plus a really cool bunk bed. Overall it was a really nice stay with a wide variety of things to do within a quick drive. Also, I highly recommend the bakery on the corner, very kid friendly with yummy bakery items.

Overall charming but had some issues. ANTS were the worst one. Upon closer review noticed ant stake in the kitchen window and insect spray in the closet. Had them on the kitchen counter several times and in the downstairs bedroom. Comfortable beds and furniture, but definite problem with a flaking recliner in the living room which had to be swept daily. We had gone to extra lengths to ensure there was parking for car and truck with boat. We were assured there would not be a problem, but the rules changed in the middle of our stay and we were told not to park in front of the house due to the HOA???

Great Location/

Thoroughly enjoyed our time there. It worked great with the park area across the street for the kids to play. Brought fishing pole and enjoyed that opportunity although with no luck. Everything was great, but for future reference perhaps access to a hose would be helpful to wash sand off of feet. House worked out great for our family.

A very relaxing stay

The property is what is displayed. It was very quiet and relaxing. It is a very good location for visiting Astoria, Seaside, and Cannon Beach. You should have a car to visit all the sights on the coast.

Wonderful place had a great price

We had a great time staying at the property. There were games for my five year-old grandson and family. It was about five blocks from the ocean and close to Seaside and Cannon Beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Beach fun location ideal for lake or beach
