Welcome to our peaceful waterfront river cottage nestled along the banks of the scenic Walhonding River! This charming cottage offers breathtaking views of the water and surrounding natural beauty, making it the perfect place to unwind and relax.

With private dock access, you'll have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the river, whether you're fishing, tubing, kayaking, or canoeing. And when you're ready to explore the area, you'll find easy access to Amish country, Woodbury Wildlife Area, Three Rivers Wine Trail, and Historic Roscoe Village, both of which offer a rich blend of history, culture, and natural beauty.

Inside, our cozy cottage features comfortable furnishings and all the amenities you need to feel at home, including a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable sleeping arrangements, and space to relax and unwind. This cottage is one of the best rentals I've experienced, and I work in the industry. Hosts are doing a fantastic job! Very clean and functional, with several places to hang out. I wanted a place to get away with my family so we could avoid distractions and spend time together. This was the ticket! We had minimal cell service which I wasn't expecting but it was probably a good thing given our goals. Highly recommend this cottage if you're looking for an escape from the everyday grind.

Our Summer Visit Was Even Better Than Our Visit in Winter. Quiet and Relaxing and Private. If you need firewood, call Dean at Hettinger Farm. He has a stand on 36 just West of 60 with wood and contact info. Ice is available 24 hours a day down the road at Dari Land and the ShopWise will have anything you need. Want to grill some GREAT meat (even Prime Rib)? Take a trip to Collins Meat Market in Coshocton.

Weekend for kayaking and relax

Our stay was Wondeful! The cottage was everything expected and more. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The lanai was our favorite evening spot, the hot tub was amazing. Corn hole provided added fun!! Overall , a great stay and would love to return. Doreen & Jason

Awesome Winter Weekend Getaway

Justin was great to work with. Using hot tub in January was awesome. Comfortable master bedroom. Enjoyed the firepit and we are already planning a summer visit to really take advantage of the outdoor setting. Roscoe Village was a nice visit as was the Gospel Hill Lighthouse. This place is a great getaway for a couple.

Peace by the river

Wanted to get away from all the Hussle and Bussle of Thanksgiving. This river house was all we expected. Quiet, cozy and just right for us. Very clean and organized. Owners were awesome and responded to our needs. Hot tub was refreshing.

MOM'S WEEKEND AWAY

MY BFF AND I HAD A FABULOUS WEEKEND AWAY AT WYNSOME HOUSE. WE LOVED WATCHING THE SUN SET ON THE RIVER WHILE WE SOAKED IN THE HOT TUB. THE NEIGHBORHOOD IS QUIET AND THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS JUST TO RELAXING.

Out-of-the-way Vacation

Property is remote take everything you will think you may need and more. Traveling in the dark to and from the property will be challenging no lighting and dirt and gravel roads. Great experience if you have never been out the city.

5 Stars - Perfect Birthday Getaway!

I had the pleasure of celebrating my 50th birthday at this charming cottage with a group of friends, and it was truly a memorable experience! The cottage itself is beautifully decorated and felt like a home away from home. We were thrilled with the river access, which provided stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. One of the highlights was the outdoor screened-in gazebo – perfect for relaxing and enjoying the fresh air without any bugs bothering us. The fire pit was an excellent addition, allowing us to gather around in the evenings, share stories, and roast marshmallows. The hot tub was a luxurious touch that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. The cottage was extremely well-equipped with all the amenities we could possibly need. We only had to bring food, as everything else was provided, making our stay incredibly convenient and stress-free. The only minor issue we encountered was the presence of sweat bees, but this was beyond the owner's control and did not detract from our wonderful experience. I highly recommend this rental home for anyone looking for a serene and comfortable retreat. It was the perfect setting for a milestone celebration, and I would love to return in the future!
