“Not usually a review scribe but sometimes you just feel compelled to. 5 stars does not do justice to Dinesh and family. Immaculately clean, helpful to a fault, nothing is too difficult to organize on your behalf and OMG the breakfast is more fit for a king than us minions. Look no further if you want a hassle free stay with some (no exaggeration) of the nicest people on this world of ours. ”

“Offers a very relaxing and comfortable stay. Located outside of town (will need to take a Tuk Tuk) but a great location for peace and quiet. Breakfast is very good/filling and dinner offers a nice selection of food which was very good. Highly recommend.”

“Amazing - no other words needed! A two night stay in one of the tree houses - had the camp to ourselves , which was perfect. Staff were fabulous and went out of their way to ensure our meals were varied both in location and food . Excellent on both counts . Wild elephant encounter on our way in, had to reroute on the way out due to ele on the road (? Same guy?) . But a great detour . Just chilled in the fish spa and ate lots. ”

“A lovely spot in a good location. A nice pool and dining area. Very quiet beautiful room with a good shower. Very accommodating staff.”

“Great hotel in a beautiful location. We only stayed one night, but could have stayed longer. The pools looked fantastic and well cleaned. We had an excellent meal, and then played pool on the table next to the bar! The hotel is trying hard to be eco, and we had a very interesting bathroom surrounded by plants in the shower, and an open air roof - covered by mesh to stop anything nasty getting in! We watched a fantastic sunset whilst drinking cocktails. Very memorable. Staff were lovely.”

“Our stay at Sigiriya Rock Hide was amazing! Beautiful quiet location with a view of Sigiriya rock from the top level restaurant. The food was delicious and very generous, especially the breakfast. The rooms were comfortable with A/C and hot water (just took some time to warm up but was very nice). The pool was very nice amongst a lush garden and was very clean and the perfect temperature. “We really suggest this beautiful guesthouse. We spent a great time, the two owners are welcoming, professional, kind and also very good cooks (they cooked something different and typical everyday)!. There are 4 rooms, so the place is familiar and not crowdy. Room was clean and quite big for the standard, 2 fans, Wifi. Very nice garden to chill. It's close to the Sigiriya Rock and the owners can organize Safari to Minnerya/Kawdulla national parks.”

“Wow. Luxurious property with the friendliest staff. The food was everything was picked from their farm. So fresh, generous portions, and organic! Our stay was simply amazing. We stayed in both the Floating Villa, and then the Bankee Chalet. Highly reccomend. Everyone in that visits Sri Lanka should come here.”

“E' un botel scadente e per bus turistici di cinesi, quindi dico tutto. La piscina ed il parco esterno sono bellissimi. Cibo il piu' scadente di tutto li srilanka. Camera sporca, bagno imbarazzante, un hotel di infima categoria.”

“Tres bel endroit dans un écrin de verdure et à 1kms à vol d'oiseau du site de Sigiriya. Grande Piscine avec quelques transats et joli restaurant sous un grand porche pour les petits dejeuners et les diners. Breakfast correct mais toujours le meme et au bout de trois nuits, ça devient lassant. Restaurant dans la moyenne, ok pour dépanner mais on trouve beaucoup mieux et moins cher en allant sur la route principale vers Sigiriya. Chambres spacieuses avec grande terrasse mais l'hotel aurait besoin...
