Rural Family vac

Cabin fit our family of 6 perfectly. Kids loved the bunk beds. Main bed wasn't bad, got a good night of quiet sleep.Very well maintained grounds and well stocked cabin.Appreciated the Christian take on the Cabin.Liked that we did not have cell phone reception- made for a better getaway.

Mini youth camp

Our kids thoroughly enjoyed their time at this place. They hope to have more chances to go. The master bedroom mattress was rough. We think the box spring might have been broke or something. Loved that it had a washer and dryer. There is no cell service and WiFi is very spotty but it was fine. Nice way to get away. Very reasonable price. Very responsive property manager

Nice, but it is on a church camp

It served us well for what we needed & the property manager was very nice & informative, but it is on a church camp site, so there were other activities going on that had other people walking by the property. Not a big deal, just something that would've been nice to know beforehand.

Lions, Tigers, and Bears…I mean geese, rare birds, and a Snake! (MO Ring snake = harmless)

Enjoyed our Anniversary (using an app on birds) to bring in several birds using their native calls. The Family of Geese were entertaining and found a little Missouri Ring snake. Love Gods Creations big and small. 😍

Quaint

Well kept property. We had the entire camp to ourselves and was able to walk around freely. Plenty of wood for firepit. House was neat and plenty of slupplies for kitchen and beds. Wonderful experience! Will be renting again.

Quiet Getaway

This house was exactly what we needed for our trip to the area. It is definitely small but has all the essentials. Nice cabin feel and very quiet area. No television which was a little tough for my family but we were in town for a wedding so we definitely survived. Great place. We would definitely consider staying again if we are in the area.

Perfect Place

My wife and I stayed for the weekend and everything was great. Very clean, well maintained, and in a beautiful setting. This is where we are going to stay every time we come to visit in the future.

Wonderful property

The property is about 1.5 hrs from St. Louis. The surroundings are rural, farms, and very hilly. The property itself looks like a summer camp. The cabin is very clean, warm, and homey. There’s a master bedroom, abd a loft bedroom with 4 beds (2 of them larger), and a mattress. We fit 10 people comfortably. Only 1 bathroom. The surroundings are beautiful.

Quiet/Safe Environment. Great Family Getaway.

Wonderful experience here. Family of 7 stayed for a few nights. Quiet, safe environment where kids could play. Had the place to ourselves so the kids had free reign of the pool, basketball courts, etc. We will definitely be staying here again.

Remote and beautiful

This comfortable house was clean as a whistle, with a well-appointed kitchen, comfy beds, and nice decor. We really enjoyed the fire circle, the front porch chairs, and a nice meal on the patio. It’s a private, remote location, which was so quiet and relaxing, the perfect escape for us.

Cabin in the Woods

Our family of 5-two adults, 3 little boys-loved visiting this perfect little cabin in New Haven! The rental and check in was extremely easy. The cabin itself was clean and bright when we arrived and there was plenty of firewood for the outdoor fire to keep us warm. The kitchen was well equipped with most anything you could need. We loved the surrounding camp grounds the most. There were several trails for us to explore, a barn with livestock to visit, basketball courts and more. Even with limited reception and no tv we never once were at a loss of something fun to do! We’ll be back for sure.

Peace and Quiet

Easy check in/out process. Great little cabin. There is no TV but there is internet. A TV would have been nice for the down time we had. Didn't see anyone else on the property for the entire 4 day stay.

Beautiful Cabin

What a beautiful cabin this was. It was a perfect getaway for my husband and I. We spent the day in Hermann at the wineries then came back and had a nice fire in the firepit outside. The place was very clean and a quiet setting. The only thing I was suprised by, and it turned out to be a good surprise - there was no TV. I thought I had overlooked it in the listing, and indeed it did not say there was a TV, but it also did not say there wasn't. Having seen that WIFI was available, it never occured to me that TV would not be. No worries, we enjoyed just being together and talking, something every couple could use more of, which I'm sure is the intent. I highly recommend this place and the rate was very reasonable.

Stay here its awesome

We used this as a base to fish the river and go eat and drink in Hermann. What a cool cabin! Super friendly manager, clean cozy and well stocked. Secluded in a beautiful area but close to many things of interest. Can't say enough how nice and fun this was.
