Hotel a Washington

“We came to Fairfield because we thought we would be getting great service. We did not get room service because the maids cannot read English I hung a door hanger out for what I thought was room service. Turns out you have two door hangers one was for towels and room service the other was and. I feel very let down and discouraged by the way I was treated. We have used Fairfield in the past but unless some kind of monetary correction is made I will never use Fairfield again we came down to...

“My bathtube was dirty unless it was stained and the jacuzzi jets were not working and it was the one thing we were all looking fwd to. The front desk was awesome, very friendly. 10/10. The eggs were terrible, tasted like fake eggs for breakfast. Everything else was great.”

“I was impressed right away with this place. Check-in was easy. The staff was very friendly. And then when I got into my room, it smelled so fresh and good. Probably the first time I ever checked into a hotel room and it didn't have that hotel smell, but the stay was awesome and the pool was awesome and the breakfast was really good. I definitely would stay there again.”

“This is an older motel, parking right at the door to your room, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I needed a place to sleep for the night for work in the area and this location was perfect for what I was looking for. As mentioned this is an older motel that could use some renovation, but it was also one of the lowest nightly rates in town so I found it to be a good value for the money. If I find myself needing a room again in the Washington, NC area I would definitely stay here...

“The big problem I had was the HVAC in the room. The thermostat on wall did not work, however, the unit worked and it was not cooling enough. The way the furniture was set up had the air conditioning unit aimed up under the furniture and it would not circulate through the room. So, no air moving. Room just needs to be thought out better.”

“The lock on my door and the top latch were both broke. Room service entered my room multiple times while i was in the shower. There was no do not disturb sign to hang on the outside of the door and I couldn’t just lock it because it was broke. The first time the entered I closed the bathroom door and said I was about to get in the shower. The knocked and entered not even 5 minutes later. I yelled out I was in the shower. It made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe honestly as I was a woman...

“Lovely place to stay! The owners are fabulous and the surroundings (working vineyard & farm) are beautiful. Mine was only a one night stay but would love to revisit when I have more time. Hi speed internet worked great. Bed was amazingly comfortable & there was a kitchenette with table & chairs. Huge closet, full size fridge & microwave. The front porch is a delight. I was on a fast trip to look for horses in Bath, NC. It was well worth the 40 minute drive. Would have loved to ride the free...

“While the room was clean and well kept, there was an excessive amount of moisture in the room. Maybe the carpets had been cleaned earlier. They didn't seem damp but again, moisture in the room was excessive. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating.”
