Amazing!
One of the highlights of our trip to Alaska was our stay at this B&B! The property is amazing and the home was wonderfully cozy! Carol is amazing!! We will come back to Alaska just to stay here again!!

Great find in Wasilia
Lake Lucille B&B was lovely, Carol is a great host, breakfast was bountiful with a good variety of food, great coffee! Accommodations were clean only comment would be to add some internet hook ups or outlet.

We were amazed by the hospitality of our hosts. Our room and the common areas were perfectly clean, warm, and cozy. Breakfast was excellent. The outdoor space and the lake were beautiful. We booked just one night but enjoyed our stay so much that we would have extended it if any rooms were available. We'll be coming back!

This was just an overnight stay after picking up a friend at the airport before having to drive back to Valdez the next day. But after arriving, I wished we'd had more nights here! This place is so quaint and adorable. It is set in an idyllic location on Lake Lucille with lush green gardens and space to sit and meditate. The room we rented was spacious, well appointed, and comfortable. Check-in was easy, and the host was especially gracious offering breakfast options, even though we did not get to partake in any because of timing for us. I would absolutely stay here again!

The B&B is lovely and on a beautiful property. The breakfast was excellent. Carol & Sarah are wonderful cooks and so crafty. Their gift shop was unique, so many handmade items. You can relax at Lake Lucille and travel around easily to Palmer, see the Musk Ox Farm, Matanuska glacier, and ride along the base of the mountains with beautiful views!

A Fantastic Place to Stay
We loved our time here. The check in process was pretty simpe; the proprietor was out and about on the property so she left a note taped to the front door with easy-to-follow instructions on the door. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very kind and helpful. Our room was on the back of the house so we had a view of the lake. There was a small, full kitchen downstairs which we used to make dinner one night. Breakfast was also included and well prepared in the morning. It was all the comforts and feel of staying at Grandma's house. If we are traveling in the area in the future we would absolutely stay there again.

Wonderful place to stay. Carol was very friendly. Breakfast was great. On the second day of our stay we had to leave early so a large breakfast to go was provided. Only regret is that we were there early in the season so we couldn't enjoy the other aspects of the property like decks, fire pit and lake dock. It was still a little cool for those. Definitely would go back!

Our wonderful hostess welcomed and blessed us with beautiful and inspiring decor, gorgeous hand-made quilts, and a scrumptious breakfast. The property is well maintained and we enjoyed walking to the dock on the lake where we enjoyed seeing a pair of loons. Just a mile away we found the Iditarod Headquarters which we found very interesting and educational.

Everything was perfect from easy checking in, to checking out. Carol the hostess is warm, friendly, & helpful. The property is clean & cozy. The setting on Lake Lucille, is over the top. I always stay there when I'm in the area.

This was my first time ever staying in a B&B. The room was clean and easy to get to from it's own outdoor entrance. The bed was comfortable. The shower was nice. Our area of the house even had it's own little sitting room we could use if we wanted to. We only stayed one night but we would like to stay again if we are in the area. Breakfast was excellent! The host was friendly and enjoyed sharing stories about the place that I'm sure she tells all the time. There is even a cute little gift shop with hand made items for sale. It felt like staying in a private room at a friend's home.

Lake Lucille B&B is exactly what a B&B should be. Quaint, quiet, private, well-appointed, and clean, yet the dining room in the morning was full of interesting people from all over the world, and the breakfast was plentiful, varied, and delicious. I especially loved Carol's version of eggs Benedict! We could walk down to the lake and watch the sunset and the boats and loons on the lake. We would definitely stay here again!

This is the best B & B we have stayed so far. The room is very clean with many decorations created by the artistic host. Even though the host stays in the same floor, she left the gust great privacy. Her homecooked hot breakfast was amazing. My husband and I truly enjoyed all dishes she cooked. We will definitely return to this place if we visit Alaska again in the future.
