This cozy home is conveniently in the middle of the Mat-Su Valley. Located on one wooded acre, this furnished home features two bedrooms and one bathroom. We love hosting guests on holiday, getaways, business, vacation, family visits or anything else that brings you to the stunning beauty surrounding Wasilla, Alaska!

The space
washer/ dryer for guests in the building, unit has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, and second room has twin bunk bed, we understand that you are not visiting to stay indoors, but when you do, 50” smart screen TVs and Wifi.

Stayed here before and it’s gone a bit downhill as far as cleanliness (smelled really weird too this time but that could have been guests in the other unit cooking). It’s serviceable but a bit run down and in need of maintenance (ex: fan is dying, closet doors won’t open/close, sagging ceiling). That said it was fine for one night. Easy check in, good wifi, quick communication, quiet. The thinnest toilet paper ever was disappointing though.

Definitely not the best place to pick if you want to cook your meals. Cookware is limited. There was a lot of pet hair in the unit. Could use a deep cleaning. Pictures could use an updating.

On a fishing trip

Easy, convenient location. Parked right out the door & felt safe with my 12 year old grandson. Place is a little old but nice linens and comfortable beds. Great freezer, with extra freezer packs. AC was running and at a good temperature when we arrivedE would stay again!

This unit served us fine, but it seemed a bit “aged”. The outlet I charged my phone on didn’t work. There were no extra blankets, the oven was old. All that said, our stay was fine.

Cozy clean comfortable place

Beautiful place, very clean, very comfortable beds, excellent hot water pressure and hotness. Was very appreciative of having a dog lead off the front porch and a pooper scooper with bags to pick up after our pet. Quiet neighborhood very easy to access and convenient to all major stores. Wonderful outdoor swing we loved to sit on. Excellent communication from host amd easy check in/out process. We added a few things and left behind for future guests to use. Could use a few minor things to make it more comfortable/convenient. Such as dish towels in the kitchen, paper and pen, comment book for recommendations and praise!. A magnetic screen door would have been great as our dog likes to stay outside and sunbake but the mosquitoes decided they wanted inside. We gound a great local italian place nearby..Marcellos would highly recommend! Lots of food for good price and delicious. Beautifully decorated and the convenience of the washer and dryer with detergents and softner was an added bonus! We left with all clean clothes. Simple check out process. Simplely put we'd stay there again in a heartbeat!! Loved it!!! Thank you.

We stayed here for a family vacation, and overall, the property was adequate for our needs. The location was a plus convenient and in a good area and the beds were comfortable, which made a big difference after long days out.That said, the home could really benefit from better maintenance and a deep cleaning. It felt a bit worn and neglected in spots. The kitchen was pretty sparse in terms of amenities but there was a coffee pot and some coffee provided, which we appreciated.This place worked for us because we weren’t spending much time indoors, but if you’re planning to cook or hang around the house a lot, just know it’s a bit barebones. We wouldn’t rule out staying again, but we’d come with adjusted.

Good enough

Fine for a one night stay. Everything worked. Hot water was slow but that’s not unusual in these type of older properties. Wifi was strong and check in and out were very easy. Basic amenities and ok matresses. I super appreciated the black out blinds! Bathroom is pretty tiny but that didn’t bug us (again just kind of an old style house in Alaska thing. Nice location that has some privacy but is close to stuff. If you’re looking for lux amenities and chic decor this is probably not your speed but we plan to stay here again.
