“The problem with this hotel is the lack of staff understanding English. Both at the reception and at the restaurant there is no one understanding English/French/German/Italian. At least a minimum of English would be essential. We had to use Google translator even for placing an order of fresh fruits at the restaurant. Internet does not work in the room (we were at the 10th floor but I heard other guests complaining it was not working at other floors as well). Limited service only in the lobby....

“Scarsa conoscenza dell’inglese da parte dello staff, in Piena notte è caduto un quadro appeso sopra il letto , poteva finire male .al mattino seguente alle ore 7 non ci è stato possibile fare colazione in quanto era ancora tutto coperto nonostante ci avessero comunicato che la colazione partiva alle 6,30, probabilmente eravamo gli unici ospiti .il servizio navetta per L’aereoporto è gratuito ma di fatto è il proprietario che accompagna con l’auto personale .”

“Spacious and clean bedroom. Location is good. This has a typical Lao style. Good value for money. Only downside was that the wifi signal was weak in the bedroom but it the end it was good to disconnect as I could have gone to bed earlier than usual! ”

“This place is great for relaxing in Pakse! The lady who runs this place, Ngoc, is a great host and speaks excellent English! You are truly well looked after at this resort and they can keep your luggage stored whilst going on the Bolaven Plateau Loop! We arrived very early in the morning from Vientiane on the night bus, and we were so glad when Ngoc advised us via email that she would make our room ready (with no extra charge) for a 7am check in. This was heaven as it meant we could continue...

“Tired, unloved and a little dilapidated. The first room given had a broken toilet, the seconds A/C didn't work. We were constantly asked for proof of booking, yet they still tried to charge us at the end. They wouldn't boil some water for us, even though we could clearly see a kettle behind reception. Nasty place, nasty staff and local tuk-tuks and taxis consider it to be in the middle of nowhere (It's 6 km from town centre) And rip you off accordingly. Do not book this hole!”
