“This is a terrible hotel to stay in!
There is no A/C, It was unbearably hot. We had fan running and temperature in the room was 30 deg C. We had to checkout after 2 days instead of 3 days booked.
We request a refund of one days for the two rooms booked. We are yet to receive a refund.”

“Nous avions réservé des suites, elles étaient magnifiques, spacieuses, propres et une très bonne literie, biscuits maison dans la chambre, délicieux ! Nous avons dîné sur place d’un excellent fish and chips. Également un bon petit déjeuner. Et du personnel très sympathique !!”

“Regular visitor and love the spacious and individuality of the rooms. It also means we can stay without having to have an accessibility room as have walk in shower and plenty of room for walkers etc. Service always exceptional and go the extra mile. Food is also delicious! Great area to walk the dog.”

Hotel is above a pub though there’s a separate entrance so coming and going was easy.
Would recommend if you’re near by.”

“It was a very nice place to stay at a reasonable cost. Ideal location near to Cooling Castle were able to walk back after the wedding well with a torch. Staff were all friendly. Would recommend.”

Breakfast amazing, even M&S zero fat Greek Yoghurt selection and perfect Avocado with lightly poached egg! Full English cooked fresh and looked very appetising.

“The property was on the seafront overlooking the beach, Southend Pier, and the amusements. All of the food outlets were either on the seafront or within 20 minutes walk east or west along the parade or north going towards Sainsburys. Lovely place which i hope to visit again.”

“Lovely venue and gardens. Breakfast was a bit of a shame. They had run out of most items in the buffet and we had to wait for a table. They should also have proper hot water for drinks and not flasks.
Overall it was a very pleasant stay with lovely rooms.”

The only thing we found that there was not any oven trays for cooking but there was an oven. Not a dealbreaker at all and we just used foil that was provided. Just a point for the future!
