  • Situato all'inizio del Seneca Cayuga Canal Trail, a pochi minuti da aziende vinicole premiate; Riverside Retreat vanta tutti i comfort e i lussi di casa.

    Questo accogliente cottage offre quasi due acri di privacy e il fiume Seneca corre lungo la larghezza della proprietà. Questo è davvero un paradiso per i navigatori con meno di 1/4 di miglio in barca sul lago Seneca. Un grande bacino permanente con paraurti può contenere più imbarcazioni e il varo privato in loco offre ulteriori vantaggi. Appena oltre il fiume, e leggermente a valle si trova un porto turistico completamente operativo dove i navigatori possono ottenere gas e esche vive.

    All'interno, lo spazio abitativo vanta pavimenti in legno che coprono la lunghezza della grande sala e lucernari per maggiore atmosfera e comfort. Una cucina aperta con backsplash di piastrelle calde e un ampio spazio sul bancone consente ai pasti di essere un gioco da ragazzi. Visita con i tuoi amici e familiari mentre preparano i piatti preferiti dei tuoi gruppi. Non dimenticare di fermarti per una bottiglia di vino Finger Lakes e brindare alla tua vacanza!

    Il soggiorno offre lussuosi mobili e splendide viste sul canale. Prepara una tazza di caffè ogni mattina e osserva la vita del canale dal divano. Non c'è dubbio che vedrai una varietà di uccelli e animali selvatici durante il tuo soggiorno!

    Tre camere da letto, ognuna decorata con il massimo del comfort, e un bagno a tema nautico completano il layout di questo gioiello.

    Un ampio patio con tavolo e sedie all'esterno diventerà sicuramente il tuo ristorante preferito e rilasserà il tuo gruppo durante il tuo soggiorno.

    L'ampio cortile offre un sacco di spazio per giochi da giardino e attività ricreative. Un pozzo del fuoco vicino al bordo delle acque è l'aggiunta perfetta a questa casa sul canale. Metti un po 'di legno sulla pila e osserva il cielo notturno mentre le stelle brillano luminose.

    Il Riverside Retreat si trova a soli 5 minuti dalle comodità del centro di Ginevra come Wegmans Grocery, ottima cucina al Castello di Belhurst. had a great trip with my partner and our two dogs! very private, quiet & clean. Lots to do in the area, without having to travel far. the supplied canoes are a plus & the firepit was great, as the weather wasn’t as warm as we expected! Kitchen had everything you could need and more, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a secluded getaway and some peace with a beautiful background :)

We were there to clean out our mom's house. We just needed a warm, clean place to relax at night and this was perfect. We are very thankful for the place to stay, the view, the gift bag and the communication.

great for our needs

I was in town for a dog show and this property was a nice, quiet get away that was within 20 minutes of the show site. We enjoyed our stay.

Hidden Gem

Property is hidden away nice and secluded next to the river. Quick an easy access for fish Kayak and lake access. We had a great time.

Long weekend getaway

The property was very nice very private. I wasn’t expecting it to be so private a lot of wildlife and right along the river was a nice thing.The only thing I would recommend is putting some kind of privacy blinds in the bigger bedroom the blinds there you could see through.

Perfect Waterfront Location!

We had a wonderful, relaxing time at Riverside Retreat. Nothing better than sitting in an Adirondack chair by the dock, reading a book and watching the boats go by. Enjoyed toasting marshmallows in the campfire. Lots of dog-friendly wineries, brew works and restaurants in the area. Would definitely go back!

Kayaking Trip

This was our second time at this property. We love where it is for going out on our kayaks. It’s a very nice place to stay. Wish the beds were larger and a little bigger kitchen table. Some other reviewers said the road noise was loud but we were busy during the day on the water or wine exploring and at night it is not as busy on the roadway and rather quiet. Great place to stay! Close to many stores and wineries.

Secluded spot

Perfect for a quiet week with the dogs. Plenty of space for us and them. Clean and well kept cabin. When they say bring condiments, they mean it. All the cabinets were cleaned out of the usual salt and pepper and random spices left by others. But there were plenty of pans and other kitchen accessories to cook with.

Quiet sanctuary

I absolutely loved this property! So clean and well kept, no problems with anything! It was so quiet at night, in the morning you can hear the birds and geese. Ample towels etc supplied, fully stocked kitchen and not with cheap items. The main bedroom has bird feeders outside the windows you can watch as you wake up, just another added touch. I enjoyed sitting on the dock in the morning and enjoying the wildlife. Already looking at dates to reserve for next year!

Great getaway!

Had an awesome Anniversary weekend with our dog. This little cabin was right near the canal, which was perfect for kayaking. Large property, so there was plenty of privacy. Inside is cute. I just wish there was at least another half bath. And you can’t tell in the pictures or description, but there is a keurig. Overall, I would recommend 100%. We had a blast and I would stay here again!

Nice place, but……

The good - Property was clean, AC was cold even on the hottest days of the year. Dock and boat launch were great for kayaking and fishing. TV’s in every room, cable, internet, plenty of parking and very secluded. The bad - if staying here make sure to lock up and secure all belongings that are left outside. Had a very expensive kayak stolen out of the yard one night. Living room furniture and mattresses could use updating as they were not the most comfortable.

Nice for wildlife

The property itself was large and pretty however the house itself needed some serious cleaning on the outside. Being on a private road map assistance had a little trouble routing us there. The gas grill was a plus. Inside was ok, kitchen had basics but lacking in anything special including decent sized coffee mugs. Most disappointing were the towels. We were given exactly one towel and washcloth per person and they were paper thin. Had to resort to doing laundry on my vacation because the towels were so bad. The couches could use replacing as well- they were shot. The fire pit was placed in an odd spot, so close to the water you couldn’t get more than 2 chairs around it. The best parts of the stay were being to close to downtown Geneva and the wineries and the wildlife was spectacular. There were two blue heron that routinely plucked fish out of the river and sat near the dock afterwards to eat. Overall for convenience it was good, other than that it was a basic cabin feel making it an overpriced stay.

Nice view great cabin

Three adults and two dogs stayed for just over a week. Lots of wildlife. We saw plenty of squirrels, a mink along the shoreline, eagles, and kingfishers in the trees. The groundhog that lives under the deck liked to sun in the morning. The location was perfect for the activities that we did. Some road noise was loud, but overall not too bad. It was neat to see the rowing teams practice in the early mornings. There was lots of boat traffic but it wasn’t loud or obnoxious. The yard was fabulous to walk the dogs. They enjoyed swimming and watching the squirrels. We felt safe and enjoyed our time. The drive in past the trailer park made me suspicious but we didn’t have any problems. The loveseat is extremely uncomfortable, and should be replaced. The futon was also fairly uncomfortable, and would be better suited for a child, not an adult. A full-size bed could fit in that room.

Amazing private cabin

I'll admit, I was a bit leery about the lack of online reviews for several years...as well as traversing the winding gravel road, PAST the "Do Not Enter" signs at the start of the property. We were happy to find a very neat, very clean cottage which was perfect for my husband, me, and our two young dogs (2 yrs and 1 yr). We loved the set-up of the cabin -- we stayed in the bedroom nearest to the bathroom, while our dogs slept in their crates in the living room area. My in-laws visited for one night and slept in the front bedroom off of the living area. Having a dishwasher and washer/dryer was a godsend. The "auto" setting for the dryer did not seem to work as well, but the "timed" setting did. My dogs LOVED the two-acre property to run around. We had a fire in the firepit one night, which was lovely. We watched the scull teams practice morning and evening, and a touring boat went by the last morning prior to our departure. I did not want the dogs to go into the water -- the shore was a bit "mucky," with sea grass along the way. The only thing I would wish for would be an outdoor hose, if needed to wash off pups. The weather was a bit too cool for us to take out the kayaks, but it was nice to have them available. There were no trash/recycling bins on the property or at the mailbox (other than the neighbor's bin). Trash/recycling day is on Monday. I contacted Premier, spoke with Louella and Jen, and they had folks pick up our trash twice. Excellent service and pick-up!

Perfect place for a weekend getaway. It has a boat launch right on the property, and a very large boat dock could dock multiple boats on it. Made it so convenient for coming and going to the lake. Only thing that was misleading about the property is the rental agency told me that there would only be parking for three vehicles as parking is only allowed on the driveway and not in the grass. However when we arrived we estimated you could park around 6 or more cars there and still be in bounds of the gravel. Driveway was very large which is a plus! Overall a great stay and lots of good memories made.

Peaceful canalside cottage

Property was as advertised. Very clean and well maintained. Lovely yard and big dock for our pontoon boat. Very close to boat launch at seneca state park. We had fun boating on seneca lake and the canal.

Everything was as described, only disappointment was the 3rd bedroom futon was very thin and uncomfortable, guest slept on couch in living room for more comfort , would stay here again

Cute home but be prepared for bugs!

This small home (cabin) is on a great property, but the nearby neighborhood you drive through is not so great. There is a highway close by as well. that being said, the home was clean and had great amenities - we especially loved the kayaks! The dock was great for sitting on to enjoy the sun, the rowers & all those leaving the marina headed for the lake. We loved being right on the canal! The firepit was fun too. The bugs (gnats and mosquitos) were terrible & there were no citronella candles provided, but we bought a ton of protection & just suffered through the multiple bites we all got. I would recommend this rental for anyone who enjoys camping as it has a similar atmosphere.
