“We thoroughly enjoyed our time in South Haven. This 1 bedroom cottage was perfect and the cheese and wine upon arrival were much appreciated! My only negative feedback is the couch is a little dated and uncomfortable but everything else was amazing! Super easy access to the beach with all the necessary beach equipment provided. Loved that we had access to laundry and that our dog could stay with us as well. We were permitted to use the main house’s front porch which was nice since no one was in...

“We had a nice stay at this cottage. It had everything we needed for a comfortable vacation. It really is just a few steps from the lake. We were delighted to have kayaks there available for our use. We had a great blue heron, a family of 5 swans, and a cormorant visit our dock. We enjoyed hiking in some nearby nature preserves, and took day trips to South Haven and Holland. The smart TVs were nice for evening relaxing. Overall a nice spot for an enjoyable vacation.”

“This tiny cottage is cute and comfortable. The owner’s description is accurate. The internet works fine, but this cottage is just the spot to take a break from the digital world. It was the peaceful getaway we were looking for. This would also be a great place to stay for a solo retreat to write or do watercolor! ”

“Our stay in this tiny home was the BEST. Had it been available we would have added an extra day. The back yard was our favorite spot in the morning and after a long day of venturing. Julie was amazing from the beginning and helped fix us up with a rebook of our stay from my own personal mess up. “From the moment you enter the area and pull up to the cottage, you know you made the right choice. You can tell this property has been recently updated with care. Everything looks new or almost new. There is a private King bedroom with master bathroom, 2 good size queen bedrooms with a couple of pull outs. The queen bedrooms are close to a second bathroom with shower. The living room is spacious, the dining room is cozy and the kitchen has everything you would want for a trip like this. This...

“As a former hotel maid, I wanted to go on record that this home is completely clean. My favorite part of the property was the peaceful back patio with an enormous sycamore tree and deer scampering by.”

“We stayed at this unique property for a family vacation, and our experience was amazing! We especially loved the two separate indoor hangout spaces, which were stocked with lots of games, a pool table, and air hockey. The easy access to the lake—with a paddle boat, two paddle boards, and life jackets—was a big plus.The views from the decks were beautiful and peaceful, and we enjoyed playing games and relaxing while watching the kids have fun in the water.
