“Excellent view of Lake Erie from room. Spacious room with separate sitting area. Only downsides meh breakfast and lots of mayflies everywhere outside. Mayflies were not a problem inside the building.”

“Property was clean and within walking distance to downtown restaurants. Private beach was right out the back door and was very convenient for a quick layout in the sun or spending a few hours. Will definitely return!”

“Stay was awesome. My only suggestion to mgt is that the 1st floor back door is very loud and jaring when it closes. Can hear and feel it.in room 107 and probably beyond.”

“Bathroom was terrible.Rust on anything metal, tub had hair in it,no tissues, body wash,or shampoo. Ask for those items and were told that they didn't have any. Wanted 1 towel and they said to ask housekeeping. The walls were rotted around the tub area. The coffee maker didn't work. The swim area was a mess. Tiles were falling off the walls, tiles on floor were loose, pile of broken tiles in brushed into corner with a broom in front of it, screens were ripped. To top it off, the key card didn't...

“Our stay here was way beyond our expectations. This place is absolutely beautiful, its like a Hallmark movie. The room was bigger than I thought, with a sitting area and a lake house / beach decor. The owner's Paul and Emily are so welcoming and very outgoing people. This place is walking distance to everything on the island. The location is perfect. “They have two buildings there I stayed in the exterior building because I had my dog with me. It’s great that they’re able to accommodate dogs of all sizes and breeds. However, the hotel room rooms in the other building are much nicer. They’re also larger. On the second day we were there. I guess they had some kind of electric issue with the hot water tank and we had no hot water. They did accommodate us by allowing me to take a shower in the other building in a different hotel room. “The hotel is in an amazing location with beautiful views of the lake, the rooms and all public areas are pristine and clean, & the staff were absolutely amazing. I would not recommend eating at the restaurant, as it's quite overpriced, the menu is quite performative, and the food wasn't that great for the price paid. It is also very small & loud if the patio is not open. That said, it did not deter from how amazing the hotel is. Just find somewhere else to eat during your stay.”
